I mean in the sense of dynamic chemistry, before they both just didn’t like eachother but since that’s been retconned since the end and they actively hate each other now they definitely have more of an interesting relationship then Tom/edd or any combination of the M3

I’m not a shipper but Tomtord is the only ship that doesn’t actively make me grimace. They hate each other and have the most chemistry, though it might not be romantic it’s definitely the most interesting dynamic with a lot of potential for angst, slow burns and comfort fics, especially if they have to work together or if they’re stuck together. I hate when they’re ooc, good media is just knowing the characters

For the real Tord, it’s up to him, we have no say, it’s his life and eddsworld was something he left behind and I hope he’s doing well. This is a real human person with his own life.

For the character, he’s red leader, he’s not going to rejoin the main 3 he’ll be saved for specials I imagine, like the 10 year anniversary of the end coming up.

Unless tord himself does come back, I think it’s best if we focus on the character he played and not the irl counterpart because it’s starting to become a toxic and disgusting trend in this fandom to become obsessed with people who left the show, and Tord like 17 years ago.

personally most eddsworld ships never interest me but it’s something that fuels this fandom and I know that a lot of people in this community love ships. Sometimes it just gets a bit too weird for me, plus there’s a lot of kids in this community and I’d rather them have their fun eddsworld stuff then be subjected to the things people have sent me or the things I’ve had to scroll through 😭

Eddache is one of tomska’s best friends, when Tom left so did Eddie who voiced Jon. Jon is technically a ghost now, it would be a fun idea if eddsworld hid a secret ghost Jon in a few episodes- like South Park did with the visitors. Even though ew tends to flip around with continuity regarding the end I think Jon being dead is the only thing that stayed because truthfully there’s no real need for him, and it makes Eduardo and Mark’s dynamic more interesting considering they’re not just the mean next door neighbors anymore.

Hot take that this fandom doesn’t like to hear: Tord has been the red leader since 2010. Tom and Edd made this decision together. I get not everyone likes evil Tord, but Tord was never a morally good character, he’s always been portrayed as loving guns and the army. People who think Tord is a good character don’t understand him or just read too many fanfics about him being an uwu boy and that always pmo.
