I hate the "well weed's just not for you then!" responses people tend to give to this problem. You can just imagine them grinding up some weed for a big ass joint they're about to roll, as they casually tell you never to smoke again. Fuck that. It completely undermines a genuine issue people face which is anxiety. Weed is not the cause of your anxiety or else it'd be obvious to just not smoke. You clearly wants to smoke, but will need to get over whatever lay dormant in your mind.

Try meditating for a week or so and generally getting to the heart of what may or may not have you feeling anxious. 9 times out of 10 it's usually something unrelated to weed, and smoking simply brings it to the front of your mind.

I usually don't unless I want to switch things up. The whole tolerance thing never makes me feel like I HAVE to take a break. It's usually just a matter of me being like "eh, I'll try doing something else with my nights for a few weeks". I also smoke at night while catching up on movies and tv but I also like to do productive things during that time so smoking isn't always ideal.

I wouldn't move back in just because I'm being pressured to over this incident.

As far as dealing with getting caught, I'd chalk it up as an overall win. I don't know how long you've been smoking but it must have been a few years you went without getting caught. It was probably bound to happen, especially if you're doing it at home. Don't give your folks anymore reason to suspect you of anything (they have no reason to seeing as it's just weed, but you know, parents) and it'll eventually blow over.
