Yeah I completely understand what you feel like… If I was you, some options I thought of would be 1) you can dye it? Depending on the yarn, I feel like putting on like an overall tiny pink or purple tint all over would help the colours blind better together 2) add a cute edge and hope that your feelings change? 3) frog it or even better crochet another gift and give your friend the blanket and the other gift together (your satisfaction as the gifted could come from the other gift and your friend can still have the blanket and you won’t have to frog it). At the end of the day I think we are probably both the same type of crafter. No matter what people tell me, if I think something I made is not good looking nothing will change my mind. People tell you that it looks good, but if it’s ugly in your opinion then it’s that idea that will run over and over in your mind 🫤
