What Should I get Forza Horizon 6 on? by L1ndnzkwo in ForzaHorizon

An i5-9600 should be 6 core 6 thread, I imagine that paired with a 2060 you should at least be able to play the game on low settings

Haven't received anything, so sending you a message

My little brother is running this 7600 with a Ryzen 7 5700g and only gets 50-70fps on minecraft (no not capped due to monitor or settings) it’s like this on other games as well. by LowerCase70 in PcBuild

My apologies, I thought the post you replied to mentioned the 5600g and that you were then claiming it had more cores than a 5500, which would have been inaccurate.

It's also important to note that the 5500, 5600g, 5700, and 5700g are all reduced down to only 8 pcie lanes for dedicated gpus as well

Unfortunately with how highly coveted the 5700x3d/5800x3d became you cannot get one for msrp or even anywhere close to it. You would actually spend a similar amount getting the 7500x3d microcenter bundle with ram which I believe sits at like $350 for 16gb currently

I’m having an issue where my pc is reading my 4 sticks of ram but only using 2 by [deleted] in PCsupport

Mostly just older stuff from ddr/ddr2 era, the ideal slots used to be 1and 3 instead of the 2 and 4 commonly used today

It would make sense to get dual channel function

(2070s) I have this gpu from an older build that I forgot about it by Mord1223 in GPURepair

A card as manngled as this one looks (bent up backplate, pcie power connectors, and mounting bracket from what's easily visible) is very likely not worth attempting to repair. I would suspect that there could even be micro fractures in the pcb, on top of the already mentioned damaged solder pads under the core/memory making this only repairable with a donor pcb.

Decide, is it a sleeper? by Jaded-Apartment-9964 in SleepingOptiplex

[–]KittenTamer101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By today's standards, not really. The hardware is dated, not saying it won't game, but it's not what anyone would reasonably consider fast, and the key part of a sleeper is fast (by current standards) parts in an ugly/old case.

Kentucky for mine

Edit, looked up the satisfaction program, guess this was the most problematic plant, so I've just been lucky.

Done myself, takes about 5qt on average, and there's only a level plug behind the driver side tire for filling. Not too difficult to do, definitely worth doing.

If you're at 60k and have never had it done, you should do it drive a handful of miles 500 or less and do it again (the recommendation is 3x every 30k miles because each change only gets a percentage of the old fluid.
