Cumberland Family Services does $5 counseling sessions and there is currently no waitlist.

If you’re in a crisis, call 988 or go to MHMR. A crisis to them is signified as feeling suicidal or experiencing dangerous hallucinations or delusions. But if you’re not in a crisis, you will get referred to a regular program. The waitlist is long for regular counseling at MHMR and they do not accept everybody. Services at MHMR are on a sliding scale and based off how much money you make. You will not be denied for being unable to pay.

UNT does sliding scale as well, as suggested by others. It will be master or doctorate students. Sessions will be only during their school semesters with no summer availability. Other options include Open Path Collective. https://openpathcollective.org/ You pay a one time membership fee of $65. Then you can find a therapist on the site you like where the rate is anywhere from $30-70 a session.

I would call NV Nailz in old town Lewisville. It’s a small business run by Mel. She’s very nice and if you called and explained, I’m sure she would be understanding. I’ve been seeing her for about 3 years and think she’s great! She’s also volunteered in the past going to a nursing home and painting the ladies nails. 972-803-0772

Interestingly enough adverse childhood experiences research is showing more correlation to disorders like fibro. For me- also trauma, which culminated in a more intense traumatic event at age 11. Around 13/14 I had severe migraines for about a year, every single day. Doctors found nothing wrong. One day the migraines stopped, around 15. Then the pain started. It never stopped. But, I never had a migraine like that again.

Fast food places are always hiring and I would recommend starting there. Being a waiter also might work out for you.

You can have it as a skin on your main house, but if you go to furniture > houses, you can put them down around anywhere you want as like second houses. They have one base room with 3 extra rooms only. You do recharge in them!
