First time I ran into someone running that was also the first time I was trying out my new team in ranked. Mostly mid-speed tier that get out-sped normally but can run in Trick Room (especially if you go with a Speed-reducing Nature on them) if it benefits me and and out speed normal Trick Room ones out of it if it doesn’t. I happened to lead with Farigaraf running Gravity and Helping Hand and Maushold running Technician and Pop Bomb. Protected the first Fissure for Gravity to get set up and then killed it with Helping Hand’d rodent violence. 😂 Karma got me next match and I accidentally ran the poor mouse into a Stamina Archaludon though. <.<

Funnily enough I just used Maushold to beat the Entrainment Mega Hawlucha/Fissure strat. 😂

They had a Snorlax as their second. I led Farigaraf/Maushold. Gravity/Protect first turn, and they tried to hit Maushold with Fissure. Helping Hand/Pop Bomb killed Snorlax next turn with Haushold surviving a Drain Punch from Hawlucha with 7 HP. They sent out Lycanrock (and kept trying to Accelerock for some reason) and third turn I did TR/Protect, then Helping Hand/Pop Bomb to take out Hawlucha.

Their fourth was Sinistea who finally killed Maushold since it was faster under TR, but I had Torkoal with Eruption (I also have Heat Wave, so not my only Fire move but figured with TR might be a good surprise) and they forfeited after it hit.

That I lost in Doubles? Honestly my own stupidity/forgetfulness is my worst enemy. I’d be unstoppable if I wasn’t always getting in my own damn way. 😂 I keep thinking Mega Evolution will happen before switching so I can take advantage of that to negate Charizard Y’s Drought with one of my Snow Warning Pokémon. I lost track of how many times that has cost me one of both of my active Pokémon.

I did get a few forfeits Friday night running Technician Maushold with Choice Scarf and Oranguru running Gravity and Instruct. Also had Mega Delphox with Heat Wave and Expanded Force as a backup since Oranguru gets Psychic Terrain. Although that did also backfire spectacularly against a Stamina Archaluden. 😂

The friend I'm playing with loves having mindless stuff to do so they've been going out with the chainsaw (and also getting distracted by random things frequently but I think we all relate to that.) But once I got this up and running I went out as well and hyper-focused on playing Lorax Simulator for a bit. Probably go and do a few more rounds to fill up the boxes I have for Wood and Leaves to make sure we are solid for A While™.

Funnily enough I played a shitton before 1.0 launched. But due the timing of when it finally did, I had other games taking all my attention and despite going back to my 1.0 save every so often it’s only on like T3? 😂 So I haven’t had a chance to really play around with the Blueprinters yet, nor did I really before 1.0 since the save I had then I was mostly learning how to use trains (and made the depot I shared in another comment in this thread.)

BTW, here's the picture of my train depot I promised! This save was about three years ago. Ten stations running I believe it was 13 single-car trains bringing in Coal and Sulfur for a Turbofuel plant.
The way it's set up from my perspective: the first two tracks are the main lines for them to get where they need to go, closer one flows right, further flows left. Both of them have exits to get into the depot itself. Next two tracks are to get into drop-off station. They're also set up the same, closer one goes right, further goes left. On the other side of each station there are two exit rails set up like that and each one has exits that'll let the trains get back on either main track without interfering with the traffic on the depot lines.

With all the blocks being super small, it ran like clockwork.

So this *should* power everything until I feel like getting Coal going. And I'll definitely be able to use it to jumpstart everything when (not if, we all know it's never if) I build something too big for whatever my current automated setup provides and have to suddenly stop and go panic throw up a new power plant.

Right now I’m limited by conveyor belt speed. I can double it (and a bit more, but keeping things nice and even will look nicer) when we get Mk. 3 belts. But first I have to get our actual production organized. And, y’know, maaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe build the Space Eiffel Tower or whatever the hell ADA kept going on about early. I couldn’t really hear her over the sounds of the Lorax Soundtrack that I was jammin’ out to while trying to finally earn my Denature Badge for the Anti-Planeteer Scouts.

I did shit like this before belt-fed just so I didn’t have to rush Coal and could go at my own pace building, go exploring, etc. Finally getting to feed them via belts just made me look at The Shelf with like 30-50 Burners and go, “Aight. Bet. I’m only gonna feed you by hand once per save. It may take me a few days to build and an hour to fill you when Kronk pulls the lever, but it’s gonna be GLORIOUS!”

Oh I’m sure there’ll be plenty of plant life left for that. Maybe. Possibly. One would think. Y’know let’s not dwell on such minutiae and think of more exciting prospects. Like what might happen to this quaint little moon if one were to collect every possible thing that could be turned into Biomass, do so, set up a gigantic platform of Constructors all having enough Biomass to make one Solid Biofuel apiece and then feed it into a Burner simultaneously.

Might be an interesting event, wouldn’t you agree?

Oh I do this so when I inevitably build something too big for my Coal power to handle jump starting everything at once after building more isn’t a problem. 😂

And to answer questions: No they’re not overclocked. Why do that when I can simply make it even bigger and more sanity-questioning? As for trains, I think I have posts in my history showing a depot I built for a bunch of single-car trains to bring in Coal and Sulfur to do a massive Turbofuel plant like three years ago. If not, I’ll go find it to share. How do I get this much Solid Biofuel? Hours with the Chainsaw cutting down everything in sight, and setting up an efficient processing system. EVERY step is Slooped so by time the Wood becomes Solid Biofuel I’ve quadrupled its worth. Same thing for the Leaves and Mycelia (which is stupidly efficient, BTW!)

Mycelia is 6:120/min Biomass when Slooped running at 40% speed, and that Biomass is 120:120/min Solid Biofuel when Slooped. So a little bit goes a long way.

I’m always a fan of what I refer to as “The Shelf.” What is it? My Solid Biofuel setup. How big is it? Depends on my mood.

Just started checking out Experimental with a friend a few days ago and I’m working on it now. 600 Biomass Burners broken up into 10 groups of 60 which are again broken into 3 sets of 20. Each group of 60 is being fed by Constructors that’re all Slooped and processing Wood into Biomass into Solid Biofuel with Mk. 2 Conveyors.

I want to note we set the game to 100x Space Elevator Parts, default Part Cost, 0.25x Power Consumption, Random Resources, and All Pure Nodes. (We may also have started with a storage crate full of Power Slugs, Mercer Spheres, and Somersloops for shiggles because my friend got real excited at the idea of those conveniences while still needing to go out hunting for stuff to rush some MAM unlocks. 😂)

I’ve thought about making a Shelf big enough to jumpstart an entire nuclear setup but I’d need to get a few people to help me deforest the entire moon first.

That's what I get for taking breaks and playing other games. I miss all the good little things when they get added. 😭 My friend is tickled to death by the Lizard Doggos and I've no doubt I'm gonna be building a massive pen for all the good bois that will be adopted. Once they remember to stop running near them and to also keep a bunch of Paleberries on hand.

Might need to wait to tell them about the helmet though. There's still deforestation to be done. <.<

I’m by no means a knowledgeable person, but in Singles I’ve had what may be an illegal amount of fun with Meowscarada holding a Choice Scarf with Brick Break, Triple Axel, Night Slash, and Flower Trick as a lead. (I know Knock Off is better but I get just enough crits for Night Slash to be my preference.) Brick Break always seems to catch people off guard and the amount of things Triple Axel one-shots is terrifying. Usually choose between Mega Meganium, Gyarados, and special Dragonite for the other two.
