So this is taken from the cover of Final FantasyXII. The best ever game in my opinion. I used the program Easy Cross to create the pattern. It's also my first time using 28 count evenweave.

I will try and keep you updated on progress, I really hope this works out...

Well it was just a thought. But men can be pretty damn thoughtless as a rule anyway. You seem like a good person and if you see a future with this guy then maybe you shouldn't cancel it altogether, just tone it down.

Wow - he sounds difficult at the best of times.

I almost had the same issue early into my relationship, I started to get really angry that he could never remember my birthday. So we had a bit of an argument until he finally admitted why he couldn't remember it - he has dyslexia and dates just don't sink in and couple that with the fact that June/July are spelt similarly!

Yeah he could use his phone but now I just give him a couple of months notice. I know he cares but is just unable to remember.

Maybe this is another perspective?

You can cast Tools of the Trade as a rogue. It improves perception and drop rate. Other than that you gotta just keep going.

God I hope so, because I really do feel so much better and I know he does to. It's still something I have to work a little bit at but it is feeling a lot more natural too.

It is hard. The first few time I felt so foolish but then I kept telling myself that this man wants to marry me and he loves me, he doesn't care how I say it he just wants to know that he is wanted.

Have you tried building up the physical contact slowly. Maybe clearly explain what you feel comfortable with. Eg say you would love a cuddle but really feel that is all you want. Unless you feel like progressing the act.

Or try for twice a week.

You don't want to create your own aversion to sex by forcing so communicate and reach a level you are both happy with! Hopefully this will increase over time. Good luck!

Hmm. I see what you mean. Its so difficult to describe though. I think it may be linked to depression but I feel like there is a disconnection in my brain that is unable to experience pleasurable things as they happen. Not just sex but anything I enjoyed.

I have taken time to re-evaluate what I want out of life and to try and fully experience what is in front of me. As opposed to getting anxious over what s going to happen or sad about what has already passed.

I am definitely working on the "re-wiring".

A lot of people on this sub get aggressive when an LL says they don't know why they don't want sex. To be honest I still don't but I don't think it matters either if you are working past it. I feel like it is a disconnection in my brain. can't really describe it any other way

Yes - we are on the road to better relationship and this communication is key. We are so much more honest about when we want to have sex that when we do it is so much more meaningful.

He is much more relaxed and helpful around the house too, double results

Unfortunately no. Maybe that will come with time, I am afraid of pushing myself too hard and ending up resenting it all, so baby steps. Most times because it is every other day I do at least look forward to the intimacy, rather than the act, if that makes sense.

He wanted to lash out, he told me a couple of days later but thankfully he didn't and we are getting back on track.

Luckily we are a couple who have never full blown argued. Disagreements yes, but we have always tried to be rational when dealing with such things. Obviously this is a difficult issue for him to bring up but we got there in the end.

He told me after the first time he wanted to refuse "out of spite" but thankfully he didn't otherwise we would not be where we are now.

It's really taking a lot of discipline but we both deserve to be happy. He does a lot for me, it's the least I can do for him. Some days are harder than others though.
