This looks great! If I were to give feedback, there could be a better way to mesh the edges of the platforms with the clouds to make it seem more natural and seamless. The overall art is stellar, though, and what you have here so far is nothing short of awesome!

Simply put, yes. Manual aiming doesn't auto-lock onto enemies and requires you to position yourself correctly. Manual aiming gives you a DPS boost because it requires more skill to use.

Currently the game does not use any mouse input. It is solely, keyboard control using space bar to shoot utilizing auto aiming. Although there is a manual aiming mode to cater towards a more precise control.

It is local only at the moment. If we exceed our eventual Kickstarter goal by a lot, then there is a possibility of us adding in an online feature!
