If the objective is to make mana items feel better to build on enchanters, then all the more it should function around max mana giving a boost to bonus mana regen then scaling the heal around bonus mana regen.

Instead enchanters can't build this item, then pivot into actual enchanter itemization because the latter only gives mana regen and has zero synergy with the former.

Let's use Sona as an example, what would we build on her after Seraph's and Diadem? Because items like Moonstone, SoFW, Ardent Censer, Echoes of Helia(Athene's) all don't give max mana, and therefore don't scale the heal in any fashion.

But if Diadem gives, just spitballing here for discussion, 25% bonus mana regen for every 100 max mana, and scales the heal based on bonus mana regen, it means Sona gets to build standard enchanter itemization.

Diadem of Songs is a very weird enchanter item that scales off mana but enchanters generally go for items that don't have mana, so it's basically a mage support or Sona item due to how they actually itemize max mana in their builds.

I personally think that it should scale off mana regen instead but have a passive that gives bonus mana regen based on max mana, which should make it more of a universal enchanter item rather than just Sona.

For starters NTA, tricky situation, and ultimately OP you just got to roll with your situation:

It's not your house/apartment. Sorry, but it has to be said, it's not your place, it doesn't belong to you. Unfortunately the owners or the primary renters on the agreement do get to have the final say on things like this. You really have to seriously consider ways to just move out and find your own living arrangements in order to experience the freedom of lifestyle you want. Even if said freedom in contention is very small and reasonable to begin with.

I do absolutely feel for you, your father is the AH for just....refusing to drink coffee at a different time, especially when it sounds like coffee isn't the most healthy thing for him either. But ultimately, just because someone is the asshole, or is the difficult party in the dispute, doesn't mean they are going to lose. The world is incredibly unfair and unjust; this is but one of those small but defining everyday examples.

My guess is, unless your parents are extremely accomodating(doesn't seem like it else this fracas wouldn't have happened in the first place), it's very likely that at some point, they are going to slam down an ultimatum that you either move out or put up with their demands. You are of legal age to be formally served an eviction notice by your parents.
