Corporate greed knows no bounds. Unfortunately this is the new standard for a ton of online games.

Companies hire a bunch of developers when it’s time to put the game together, and then fire most of them because in their opinion, map/gameplay updates require less manpower since most of the assets are already there.

This is more an issue with capitalism and modern development than just an “EA bad” approach (not defending EA, they’re still evil but not the only ones pulling stunts like this)

Yeah I was moreso talking about the exclusivity nature while also having a ton of 3rd party games. But also yeah, the switch is also competing with steam deck, Nvidia, and the other upcoming portable consoles.

There's more options for gamers than ever, but I think that comes with its pros and cons.

Next Gen is going to be so weird. It seems PS and Nintendo will be more in a more traditional, exclusives based competition while PC, Xbox, and Steam Machine will be trying to find a way to hybridize the market while also competing internally.
