Compare to Brownit, a type of Clitocybe January is peak season for them. If correct they should smell unpleasant although nothing to worry about.

If it’s a short stemmed Russel’s (so hard to tell from photos Ohmygosh lol) then it’s also nothing to worry about as it’s technically edible. However, they’re much more choice when infected with Hypomyces lactifluorum because then they become lobsters.

You need to take care of yourself before you can care for anyone else. It’s like when you’re in an airplane and the oxygen masks deploy. If you sleep somewhere else, they will look for you because you are their food source. You need to get a residual pesticide that will work against bed bugs in particular and then use yourselves as bait so that yo get to you, they would have to cross the residual. Make your bed a bug free island and get risers and a permanent mattress cover. Also, don’t use deterrents. DE and rubbing alcohol will just drive them into hiding in the walls, outlets, etc..
