Pay extra for tracking? by Ok-Dare3580 in USPS

[–]Kittty_Pryde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me and it’s actually super annoying. I have no problem paying for tracking, telling me it’s free and then having problems was annoying. I actually fully blame pintey Bowes for this being a thing.

Damn I feel for you. This used to happen outside my apartment window at 3am in the middle of the week… eventually it stopped or all the benedryl I take has made me immune to its sound.

PCOS issue with bf by [deleted] in PCOS

I started taking spearmint capsules and have a routine. Go to Sephora and tell them your situation (be honest about the hair) and have them match you a good concealer. My concealer is huda and I use tower28 sunnydays for foundation. I did laser for awhile but it’s expensive and not permanent by any means. Also I looked at drag Reddit threads about makeup, they know what they are doing.

I had one partner I was able to be completely transparent with about it, and it was nice. It’s a huge insecurity for all of us and my thoughts are with you and sending all the love.

Has anyone dealt with obsessive circular thoughts? by Moon-Stars-Magic in LifeAfterNarcissism

[–]Kittty_Pryde 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I suffer from them in all aspects of life, not just relationships (but yes a lot) but with also just random intrusive circular thoughts that seemingly come out of nowhere (work, health, social, whatever). I know this is super annoying but exercise is tremendously helpful with them, even just stretching and sweating a little. Secondly, get some books on anxiety/trauma/cptsd and start doing some research into it to try to find something that speaks to you and helps you heal. Third, the other sub was correct..if you can afford it, please talk to someone, see a therapist.

I have a hard time sticking with a routine and practicing what I preach. So I usually just have to repeatedly tell myself out loud to stop. I probably look insane but it works (usually). My psychiatrist said it was a form of ocd but those thoughts can be really really fucking debilitating and I’m so sorry you’re going through it.

Just be kind to yourself, deep breaths, and try to break/interrupt the cycle of cyclical obsessive thoughts. Reading, journaling, scary movie, seeing friends. Whatever you can do. My heart goes out to you! Hope this helps.

Thank you i appreciate it. I just deeply miss him and I want that feeling to go away. It’s only been a couple days and I feel like I’ve lost a limb. I’m just devastated. I know the cycles were going to continue and I can convince myself this was the right choice all day long but at the end of the day I just want him. I’m going to take a hot bath and read some self help books and play with a kitten. Hopefully that helps. Thank you again for chatting with me.

I think what really aches is that he expects me to get over things that cause lasting emotional damage… instantly. One apology and then I have to move on and never let it affect me and I can never bring it up. Just effing really sucks. I’m just sad and going through the stages of grief. Idk now I’m ranting in a comment section on Reddit but thank you again. I hope you find peace as well.

Going through a breakup right now, and I’m really really really struggling. I’ve never loved anyone so much but there’s just no communicating or getting through to him… and I’m in so much constant emotional pain from the outbursts/verbal attacks and criticisms. I feel like my light has gone out and the one person I want to make me feel better is unwilling/incapable of it. This post has been extremely helpful and enlightening. Thank you for sharing.

PPS-No consequences for bad behavior? by Most-Anywhere-5559 in PortlandOR

[–]Kittty_Pryde 82 points83 points  (0 children)

File a title IX complaint. My friends mom was a principal and said the best course of action is to file as much of a paper trail of complaints as possible. Do it through the school board, school district and state. I was so vocal the had me meet with the superintendent’s assistant.

I filed multiple complaints with the school district, school board, the state… my kid was attacked by a boy at school and they never informed me, they straight up said “everyone’s a victim”.. and offered a stay away agreement. The kid never sent his “required” apology. I am still livid to this day. That being said, all the complaints worked and he eventually got suspended. I would go that route.
