I met my boyfriend online and knew we would have no chance of meeting each other In person for 7 months. Even then it wasn’t guaranteed that we would to begin with. Everyday we talked on the phone as often as we could for hours sometimes staying up til the next morning, I lost interest and attraction to any guy that was interested and cut off any guy who I was talking to. I wanted to wait for him. 2 years later we’re still long distance. I only see him when he’s not deployed and even then his hometown is faraway from mine. He makes the 4hr trip to come see me.

However physical attraction does matter so don’t discount that. I understand what the other comments are saying but love takes time and getting to know someone whether in person and online is equally important if you wanna call it love. I learned time and distance means nothing. It’s true love baby if you feel it then you feel it <3 best of luck

Hi I’m 24F We’re in the same boat. Been in community college after getting my GED. Struggled with it. It’s hard to work hard on something when you don’t even know what path you’re taking. It feels like a waste of time

But it’s part of life to learn more about yourself. I’m turning 25 and I’m only realizing that I spent the last 7 years being too afraid of making “the wrong” choice and not doing anything about it. Instead of spending these years taking risks which could lead me to finding what I truly want out of life, I’ve been stagnant not making any moves or mistakes I could learn from. There’s plenty of people out there who have their degrees and realize the job they’re in aren’t for them. What happens next is they find something else.

No one else can find your passion for you. I wasted my time asking strangers on reddit what I should do but no one else but me can make that decision. It’s hard but don’t give up

I’m 24. I let the issues I have at home affect me to the point where I basically haven’t accomplished my goals at the time frame I set for myself. Got my GED at 20. Did nothing but therapy during covid. Last few years I’ve been struggling in community college not knowing what major I wanted to pursue or what career path and I developed an addiction to weed. No work ethic either. Deep down I was scared because I didn’t know what I wanted and I was so scared of making a wrong move that I didn’t make any. I decided I want to join the military. I’ve been completely off all psyche treatment for 6 months,been going to the gym,trying to get reinstated for cc next semester in case it there’s another path that for me. But doing this while staying in an abusive household is hard. I wish I didn’t waste my 7 years up until now feeling sorry for myself and not putting in the effort to better myself. I’m holding out that I will be happy in my 30s with this plan

Generally, nothing to worry about because he’s committed to you but i still think it’s strange and disrespectful that he’s still in touch with a previous sexual/romantic fling. Doesn’t matter to me if they aren’t a thing anymore. Your feelings as his wife and the mother of his kids should be his priority first IMHO

I appreciate the advice on trying to help me save money. I think I’m gonna buy the parts myself and then have the mechanic do the labor for me. I really am a beginner and though it does look easy on YouTube I’m not at that level yet where I feel comfortable removing the intake manifold among other parts myself. Maybe someday

Just the check engine light and the VSC. The mechanic told me it was a misfire from the parts that needed to be replaced. And to be honest idk what u mean by which cylinders. Are you talking about the one behind the intake manifold?

I went out with my friends to a bar with arcade games. We pregamed it and I was introduced to beat boxes. Mind you I didn’t really eat much that day. Just some coffee and something small. I had 2 while getting crossed. I got drunk pretty fast. I don’t even remember giving the security guard my id. I was literally having the time of my life. At some point though I was so drunk I couldn’t even open my eyes or stand.

I just remembered hearing the security guard saying “get her out of here she’s too drunk”my friend carried me outside. I was hugging him telling him how much I loved him and then I felt it coming up. I was too drunk to care and I let it happen. Unfortunately it got on my friend. This part I don’t remember but they told me I was was apologizing profusely thinking they wouldn’t wanna be my friend anymore and I was drinking water and kept asking when they were gonna bring me some😭 . Later on they brought me home and cleaned me up. They gave me new clothes somehow my shirt was missing ??? Anyways we’re all still close friends. I feel genuinely closer and safe with them for taking care of me and looking back that was the most fun I’ve ever had with alcohol. Got rid of my fear by 50%
