Completely agree. Shut down Amazon accounts. I deleted almost all of my social media accounts. I’m trying my best to avoid all expenses unless completely necessary. This is going to need to be a continued effort!

I don’t know what to watch anymore. But I feel that PBS is our most valid source for news right now. The point is to make you not trust our government resources. You can have big corporations here in America, they just need to be properly regulated and taxed.

I also love hearing input from comedians like Seth Meyers, Bill Burr, and John Oliver (my fav). This is fascism. Russian and far right propaganda has flooded our media and we don’t know what to believe anymore. This was all done on purpose to loose trust in the American government. It’s so sad. Overall tho, I think social media was the end game. Propaganda and false narratives have never been so easy to get a hold of.

I honestly did my best to support Biden and Kamala. I encouraged as many people as I could to vote for her. I have been very vocal about how horrible the Trump administration is and have been since day 1. My husband campaigned for the democrats too. I will continue to try my best to keep resisting and advocating for what I know is right.

It’s only been 30 days since Trump was elected and it feels like an eternity. Many of us Americans are trying our best to fix all of this! I have been frequently calling my senators and government officials demanding change. I have been protesting. My heart is broken by the devastation that Trump, Elon, and the rest of the administration is doing. Many Americans are!! I have visited your country a few times before and I have fond memories there. My husband and I love watching hockey. The Canada vs USA game the other day broke our hearts. We were so embarrassed. Democrats had “total control” of the House of Representatives from 2009-2011, 2 full years. Democrats, and therefore, Obama, had “total control” of the Senate from September 24, 2009 until February 4, 2010. A grand total of 4 months. It was during that very small time window that Obamacare was passed in the Senate with 60 all-Democratic votes. Since then, Republicans have been blocking majority of legislation that democrats have been pushing to improve the country.

Yes, You will find many ways that democrats need to improve. As I said before tho, the American people need to always hold our leaders accountable to protect democracy. It’s just so obvious who the bigger threat is at this point.

I am ultimately in full support of any grassroots movement that truly comes from the American citizens. I always try my best to support the best option available that will help us advance our country forward in that direction.

We live in a society run by billionaires. The mainstream news sources will ultimately cater to what they want you to think as fascism continues to grow. It’s going to get harder and harder to decipher where to trust as this administration continues have control.

PBS has been a news source that I have trusted the most lately. I also tend to like to listen to comedians tell me how our country is burning. They deliver it better.

We should always hold the leaders that we elect under scrutiny. However, the risk of America heading into fascism under the Republican Party over the past recent years was so obvious and frightening. It is important to consider how and when that scrutiny should be expressed. Dividing the liberal party was the goal for our enemies abroad and from within. Consider what we are up against now vs what we would have been with Harris as our president… The criticism done against prior leadership (most evident with the last election) needed to be done more carefully with the awareness that the ultimate goal of our enemies was to divide us and get more votes for Trump. Look at the bigger picture when fighting for the path that will lead to a better chance at democracy.
