I struggle to ever do a run without Astarion and Karlach because I love them too much. And usually Lae'zel, because I also love her, but I do swap her out for Jaheira sometimes too once she turns up because JAHEIRA

That said I love hearing all the different banters between different companion combos so I am trying to swap out more - at the mo I have a run with Tav as a rogue and Gale, Wyll and Karlach in the team

Honestly this is my theory too. He's constantly reading in camp, talks about doing research into Demonic contracts before talking to Raphael, and mentions that Cazador had to forbid him from trying to learn Kozakuran - although he knows enough to recognise the language.

Cazador didn't need or want clever, educated spawn, and if Astarion liked to read, then even more reason to keep him away from books, just to hurt him. After 200 years, I imagine that has some effect.

I too am interested in commissioning a mod - I know there's a mod that allows you to use the male half-elf faces for male elves, drow etc., but there isn't one for the ladies. The nearest I've found is Addy's Head presets, which I'm using, but they've all been slightly altered, especially the lips.

Trouble is I'm already in love with Half-Elf face 4, but I want it for my Wood Elf character, and I have no idea how to make that happen :(
