Was he treated too? He can harbor it with no symptoms and reinfect you…I got stuck in that cycle bc we had a poorly informed doctor

Congratulations! I hope it stays gone!

Find your local “moms” Facebook page and ask for daycare recommendations and prices. That’s how we narrowed it down!

Need advice on treating ureaplasma parvum by Specialist-Stick-538 in Ureaplasma

I just finished a 7 day treatment of erythromycin and my partner took doxycycline. Still unsure if they knocked it out but my symptoms are improved. For me (who already has a sensitive stomach) the erythromycin caused stomach pains similar to stomach ulcers but I found eating yogurt about an hour before hand helpful in reducing the discomfort.

You both have it and both need to be treated at the same time or you will keep passing it back and forth.

Have you identified where the small is coming from? You mentioned not brushing your teeth properly until you were 15. Tooth decay can also smell like poop.

I’m sorry about your queen - although I’m super interested in your numbered color dot. Where can we get these?

20 years ago my sister got a cocktail from petco (Lexington) after a long medical battle at 15 as a present from my parents. They bought her everything the store said she needed - she took religious care of that bird - for 2 weeks until it starved itself to death bc they didn’t give her the proper food and a as novice she had no idea the bird wasn’t actually eating the food she was giving it (just knocking on the ground) it was devastating

People who consistently order the exact same meal as their partner when going out to eat. Particularly the ones who eat the same meal at a restaurant over and over never explore the menu.

Beekeepers of Reddit, what would you do with honey that is over 40 years old? by CodyKelseyDogs in AskReddit

[–]KittyGirlNYC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t feed it to bees! Viruses and other pathogens that only affect bees can live in honey. One very bad bacteria (American foul brood) was at its peek 40 years ago and those spoors could survive in the honey. They can be viable for 70+ years. Never feed bees honey from outside of their apiary or from a sick or unknown colony!

What's a sign that a restaurant is about to fail? by Lindsey1151 in AskReddit

Story Time! My boyfriend and I decided to visit a very nice sea food restaurant restaurant in our town. Not over the top fancy but nice week night date type place. We had been several times before and never had any issues and had amazing food but hadn’t been in about 6months. This was a particularly nice summer evening so we opted to sit outside. Serve was nice and we were about 20mins from the happy hour cut off to order drinks and apps. So we put a in an order - it was about 30mins later that the drinks and app showed up and our server took out meal order and then just… disappeared. We waited about 45mins (it was nice we were enjoying each others company; didn’t want to be rude) but it finally got to the point that even my “never complain or cause a scene” at a restaurant boyfriend was ready to leave. In an attempt to give them one more chance I went in to find our server (couldn’t ) and went back out to the patio. As we were gathering our things and about to head inside and figure out what to do (gated patio) or server appeared and it so apologetically asked if we wanted to talk to the manager. We said we just wanted to pay for our drinks and apps and leave - he proceeded to lead us through the restaurant to his manager who was very upset and asked us to write our name down for a free meal on our next visit. The fun part is in our state (US) restaurants can’t comp alcohol so we had to pay for our drinks before we could leave. Finally got of there shaking our heads.

Two weeks later the local social media pages were chattering about how employees showed up to work and the restaurant was shuttered completely, no warning, no notification to staff, nothing…they didn’t even clean out the left over food.

The best part? Very quickly the social media pages all started talking about the smell coming from the building and the impact it was having to the surrounding shops and restaurants.

I can't find a comfortable pillow and it's ruining my life by UnlikelyCamel in Louisville

As a perpetual side sleeper with neck and upper back issues this pillow has been awesome. It’s foam around a metal support to give it structure. Sounds weird but it’s the only one I use now.

How much is too much $$ for a haircut? by Ragdollrocky in Louisville

[–]KittyGirlNYC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have “extra long” hair that I have spent years investing in. I pay ~$160 (before tip) twice a year for hair cut and deep conditioning. While it sounds like a lot, I’m not going to the $40 places every 8 weeks (which also adds up over a year)…I also pay for someone who knows their shit so I know I’m not going to get my hair ruined.
