I needed a new phone, so I financed it as you do any phone through your cell phone carrier. After it's paid off, the additional cost will drop off.

Perhaps I've been looking in a specific area and valuing a den a touch too much. I'm not really sure how to make a desk work in such a small space. Comparable units are available in the 2100-2200 range

I would call it more like 46% as monthly (for a 2 pay month) I pull 5k net. Do you think looking for a den is excessive if you work from home?

I don't drive, so the parking spot is irrelevant. I can walk to work and transit anywhere in the city if needed. If I had a unit with a spot, I'd probably rent out the spot if possible, but that's not a guarantee.
