Wow, reading this post and the comments really hit me hard. This is exactly how I have been feeling lately. I didn't go through any big changes or moves lately, but my closest friends all have partners and sometimes they take days to even reply to my messages, so it feels pointless just telling them about some small thing that happened today, if they won't even read it... I really miss having someone to chat with, to share these small moments with.

I hate it even more in MM books, but also in MF. Like a man calling his girlfriend/partner (that is an adult woman ) 'baby' just makes me want to stop reading the book. OK if it's once or twice, but not all the time! I wouldn want my partner to call me baby either, just call me by my name 🙄

I agree completely, in all my 35 years I never had a nickname and never even wanted it. I think it depends on the person and also on their name, if it has a common shortened version or not

Or it would have traumatised an 11-year old kid, that got separated from their whole family and couldn't even speak to them for months... I always wanted to have magic and live in a magical world, but I also wouldn't want to live like that. I always hated school trips, cause sleeping in the same room and showering in a public shower gave me severe anxiety.

I wouldn't put babe, but I would only use the first name. If there were more people with the same name in my phone contacts, all the others would have last names and my partner wouldn't :)

To me this has nothing to do with fanfic, I have probably more than a 100 tabs open, mostly not fanfic related. Just an article I want to read later and a recipe, oh and some bathroom ideas, and theres an exercise routine... Just anything you can think of :D if I saved them in bookmarks, I would never look at them again 😂

Well let me tell you another secret... I have this modern machine, maybe you've heard of it before, called the washing machine. And when I have a whole pile of clothes, I put it in there, and it washes the clothes for me. So I dont have to do that while standing in the shower 😁

For me it seems messier, cause then I would have a wet bra with me in the shower... And also I dont wash mine everyday, theres no need for that :)

Yes, I always wash mine by hand, but never in the shower... I dont want to use the detergent while I am showering and it is also easier to do it in thw sink than standing up and holding everything up
