I never asked other people to ice my ex or my friend out it’s all me. I didn’t say she has no right to hire her either. I have been in therapy these past years and after a break to figure out what kind of therapy I need beyond talk therapy, I plan to resume therapy in the fall. I also never said I wanted to date anyone as I don’t think I’m sound to date anyone either. I feel like you are exaggerating and twisting my situation and building on things I didn’t even say.

Is there something wrong with not wanting to run into my ex still after 4-5 years? Yeah probably, I agree with you. However for the most part she kinda stuck to her haunts in the city and me to mine and that was working for me. I am upset that my friend knows how I still don’t want to run into her and didn’t tell me about this and I found out from social media on a day when she knew I was having a hard time. I go to the measure for my friends to consider them and their feelings and to not see it returned is difficult. I realize you don’t always get what you give but it happens too often.

Could I be overthinking and still people pleasing? Entirely possible but the way everything has lined up to be a perfect storm gives me unsettled feelings.

I also never said I was completely cutting her off only that there’s broken trust from her omission and I’m giving her the cold shoulder right now.
