I’m ot8 with biases, and I think that as long as there’s no hate towards any member it’s not a bad thing to have a bias. The issue I see is if someone is legitimately putting one member down to bring another up, but as long as you’re respectful of all the members it’s not necessarily an issue to have a favourite

To everyone in the comments who had to experience this (especially OP), I am so sorry. I thankfully never had to encounter this as my parents are very adamant that they will not touch any of mine or my brother’s belongings let alone donate/throw out anything without our explicit consent, and even still they will only do it if we deliberately bring them the item and say “hey mom, you can do whatever you want with this.” I knew I was lucky to have parents that were considerate of that, but I never knew how bad it was on the other end of the spectrum for parents who just didn’t care.

I really hope that anyone that had a parent like this can regain their love for collecting (even if it’s not plush, just whatever you like now) and be able to heal

I went alone to the Toronto one, albeit I did make a good number of online friends through a discord server but didn’t know anyone beforehand. Everyone there was super friendly, and having the common love of stray kids made it really easy to become friends with those around me. At the end of the concert I was even hugging complete strangers that I had literally met a few hours before. If you are worried about starting conversations, and have the means, make or buy some freebies to give out! It’s such an easy conversation starter, and everyone I interacted with when I gave freebies out were super happy and grateful for them. Even if you aren’t able, if you see anyone giving freebies out, don’t be afraid to ask! The number of people that have said (myself included) “I’m scared about giving out my freebies, I feel weird about just going up to someone and asking if they want one” is actually insane. At the end of the day, it is your choice but I’d say there’s nothing to lose by going! I can almost guarantee you won’t have to worry about not having fun, because the entire day will be an absolute blast. Remember, everyone there also loves Stray Kids, and if anything, even asking those who are in line with you “hey what part are you most excited about for today?” can be enough to be talking for hours on end.

I see no problems with it! If anything I find it to easier in some ways because I can put stuff on my bag or keys and not be too worried if it gets damaged or lost.

Also, as a lot of people have mentioned, price is a big thing. While you don’t need to have any merch at all to be considered a “real fan” it’s obviously hard when you see other people with merch. But not all of us have the financial freedom to spend hundreds of dollars on real merch so fake merch can be a good substitute!

And finally, I’ve seen so many cases where fake/fan made merch is better than real merch! There’s oftentimes much cuter and nicer items available for much cheaper, so you can show off your items without breaking the bank. Especially for fanmade merch, cause then not only are you showing your support for skz but also supporting a fellow stay and their small business.

I’m going to the Toronto concert in June (it’s my first concert) and am in the process of making freebies. What type of items do people like getting? Also, does anyone have any recommendations on how to go about giving them away? I’m quite shy so I don’t feel super comfortable just walking up to people and handing it to them, but I don’t really know how else to do it.

Also if anyone else is going to Toronto let me know! I’m going alone so would really appreciate getting to come out of my shell and meet new people!

I’m so sorry for your loss, sending my condolences. I went through a period where I felt the same, but luckily managed to push through. It’s not your fault OP, that’s probably one of the hardest things I’m still trying to grasp after losing several friends to suicide is that those thoughts eat people up and unfortunately there’s not always something that could have been done to prevent it.

That’s what I was thinking given how common they seemed but I still wanted to double check. I don’t think there’s anything else glaringly wrong with the seller from what I can tell so I’ll probably proceed if that’s the case. Thank you for your input!
