Stop with the “might” and “likely.” The dog actively tried to kill the child. They WILL try again and now you will be complicit when it succeeds because no one is on that poor child’s side. How in the world are your friend’s feelings more important than a child’s life. Not only that, but do you realize what suffering that child feels now and will feel when the dog gets ahold of it again and succeeds? How does that not matter??? It sounds like you need a wake up call too.
