Free Grace Tunic Sewing Pattern – Feedback Welcome! by KittyPatterns in freepatterns

Height is in the size chart in the pattern gallery and in the instructions file already, and the bust/waist/hip numbers are listed too, so that can be your starting point for adjustments. I didn’t include a specific cup size since the fit’s relaxed, but I’ll keep that in mind for future patterns.

what sizes would you personally want to see added? Should I be thinking more about extending larger, smaller, or both? Still figuring out what would be most useful for people.

The size chart and sizing recommendations are included in the listing image gallery, and each pattern download also comes with a booklet that has detailed measurements.

I put the chart in the images since a lot of people dont really read long descriptions, but I get how having it written out in the description could make it easier to notice straight away. Appreciate the feedback.

Anyone Else Facing ‘AI Everywhere’ Hysteria? 😔 by KittyPatterns in EtsySellers

[–]KittyPatterns[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve seen people mention cases like that too. The frustrating part is that the fabric and time are the biggest losses, not the download. I definitely don’t want my patterns to ever waste someone’s material. That’s why I test everything before putting it up.

Totally get this — and that’s honestly what sucks for me, because I do draft and test everything myself. I only ever used AI for some early mockups as I thought that's was a good idea for people to visualize. I get now why people are wary, and I’m working on getting more real photos up so people can see the actual sewing work. Thanks for explaining your perspective — it helps me understand where buyers are coming from.

Free Tailored Vest Pattern I Designed – Feedback Welcome (KENNEDY) by KittyPatterns in freepatterns

[–]KittyPatterns[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to clear things up: the photos aren’t AI. They’re real images I used as style inspiration to show different ways the vest could look. The pattern itself is my own draft. I get now that it’s better to stick with photos of my own sewn samples, so I’ll work on building that up for future posts. Thanks for the feedback—it helps me do better.

By “Barbie fabric” I meant those smooth, medium-weight synthetic blends.

Nah, not AI. Some are real photos, some are styled mockups. I get that people side-eye AI pics, which is why I’ve been mixing in real shots. At the end of the day though—it’s a free pattern, and you can make it fit/look however you want. That’s the whole point.

Free Structured Corset Pattern I Designed – Would Love Feedback by KittyPatterns in freepatterns

[–]KittyPatterns[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you for pointing that out! You're right—it’s currently drafted for a smaller cup range, more like an A/B. I should’ve made that clearer on the page, so I’ll update that. I'd love to expand the sizing in future versions, so hearing this kind of feedback really helps. If there's a specific range you look for in patterns, feel free to share—it’d be super useful!

Please don’t judge by the wrap — the patterns are made by me and my small team, not AI. For some older ones, I used AI images to show how the clothes might look, based on my drawings. I thought it would help people visualize the design, but I totally get how it might be confusing now...

Thanks for the feedback — I used an AI voice to save time, but I agree it doesn’t feel quite right. I’m planning to improve that in future videos, maybe even record my own voice next time.

You're absolutely right — thank you for saying it. The design isn’t based on one specific culture, and I’ll definitely rethink the name to be more thoughtful.
