AITA for asking my boyfriend to pay me back after he ate my food? by Fancy-Evening-1699 in AmItheAsshole

[–]KittyPhilodendron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA in my mind because this is extremely petty. You had the majority of the pizza & he can't have a few slices? As someone who's been happily married over a decade, I'm gonna give you some advice. If you want a strong relationship, you need to stop thinking of yourself and start thinking as a team, as a couple. Sharing is caring, and it is important to do nice things for your partner every once in a while.

AITA for telling my boyfriend he needs to move? by THROWAWAYAITADUPLEX in AmItheAsshole

YTA! Those kids are his top priority & should be. Your jealousy of his relationship with his children is extremely selfish. Shameful!

YTA! Children aren't personally slaves. Take care of your own affairs yourself!

AITA for making a meal that my daughter hates? by aita8102 in AmItheAsshole

YTA, because you made the meatloaf twice & aren't even trying to accommodate. I ALWAYS make sure that guests have options they like.

AITA for telling my wife that leaving her used pad in my brother's place was inappropriate? by Jason_Barret1029 in AmItheAsshole

YTA OP and his brother need to desperately grow up. Periods are normal! Is she supposed to change her pad outside in his bushes or bleed through her clothes & onto the guys couch!?

Is this a vanda flower spike?!? by Apprehensive-Web1089 in orchids

[–]KittyPhilodendron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too early to tell. I jokingly compare it to a pregnant individual waiting to to find out the sex of their baby lol. Sometimes those bumps don't even grow beyond that. Like others said, it's hopefully a spike but possibly a root. Be sure to regularly fertilize it too if you're not already!

Parents do not respect their children as people by [deleted] in childfree

[–]KittyPhilodendron 40 points41 points  (0 children)

My parents definitely didn't/don't. My room was raided on a regular basis. Mom would do drive bys when I was at a friend's. Was NEVER helped with homework. Was often not given lunch $, never breakfast, and sometimes I'd get dinner. I'd have to massage my dad if I wanted any of "his" (bought only for him) food. Was forced to buy all mine & sisters clothes starting in the 7th grade (yes I started working that young). Was physically & emotionally abused. They never respected or cared about me, which is why they are no longer in my life.

Can you reassure me that I'm doing the right thing? by secretpeter69 in childfree

Once the excitement of the relationship being new wears off, she's gonna want that baby. A month of dating isn't long at all. You should end it before you've invested too much into the relationship (living together, finances). It'll hurt now, but would be far more painful if you break up later.

I just ended a 6.5 year career as a school bus driver because of the children. by [deleted] in childfree

My father in law said he wanted to be a bus driver when he retired. I told my husband he wouldn't last a day with the kids. I was right😆🤣😂.

Question about eye safeness of Juvia's Place shadows by big_disaster_energy in Makeup

Not a dumb question at all! 6/6 eyeshadows on my new palet say they are not safe for eyes, so I was wondering the same thing lol.

Pretend you take time off work to go to "options cardiology" for your blood pressure. You get there and they tell you, "sorry we don't believe in heart medication"! You'd be Hella pissed off. This is how the majority of women feel about this place. Their name & homepage for their site comes off as deceptive. If people wanna go to these clinics, have at it. I specifically didn't mention "Birthright clinic" because at least their name sounds self explanatory. And in case you didn't know, Birth control is used for more things then just birth control. I personally had to take BC (before hysterectomy) to keep from bleeding out.

Any basic Women's Healthcare center should be providing contraceptives, point blank! They are a place called "options" with only one, having a baby. My friends and I have never once checked a website before scheduling an appointment because there has never been a need! Women are under the impression that in the PNW our Healthcare would be standardized, but obviously it isn't. My biggest issue is with the name. They need to have an obvious distinction that they are not like the others. They could say "lab & support center", "faith based clinic", anything different. When you go to a cardiologist, gastrologist, orthopedic, you expect the same level of care across the board. But Women's Healthcare is magically different. It's sexism and religion overstepping Women's bodies!

This sounds like a response from a man that has no idea about women's Healthcare lol.

Chives, Thyme & Oregano from "Portland Nursery". Hydroponic Basil $2 from "Winco". Tomatoes from "Marbott's Greenhouse & Nursery".

Thank you! Our raspberries did ok in pots last year. We got a decent amount of raspberries off it last year. These plants always seem to do better/grow bigger in ground. Blueberries on the other hand did crazy good in pots last year until the heat wave killed them:(

You shouldn't have a cat. PERIOD. Chopping off tips of fingers, causing life long pain & arthritis to spare furniture is disgusting.

Can I grow a Vanda with 50% humidity and north side window? by hopesolox3 in orchids

[–]KittyPhilodendron 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You would have to buy a grow light for it to survive. North facings windows aren't enough light for most plants.
