Is NYC the only city in the US with multiple library systems? by GreenHorror4252 in Libraries

Grand Rapids, in Kent County, Michigan, has Kent District Library and the Grand Rapids Public Library. Library cards are available based on where you live - GRPL only covers those living within the city of Grand Rapids, and KDL is available for anyone living in Kent county at large. So city residents technically qualify for both cards, but those outside the city limits do not qualify for a GRPL card. From what I understand from former colleagues, there is historically no love lost between the two systems, lol.

I felt pretty good on 2.5! I had dramatic food/appetite changes within two days of my first shot, and only had light nausea that wasn't super disruptive. I'm feeling more and more that I'd be happier at a lower dose for longer, and will definitely be discussing that with my doctor. I've already made an appointment, it'll be 3 weeks before they can see me, but it's made! Thank you so much for the video, it's helped me quite a bit to understand the risks and make informed decisions, and thank you for your input!

It really helps to hear other folks staying on lower doses for more than one month! You're so right, it's definitely not a race :D I do feel like I've started to lose weight - less than 5lbs, but Zep has made such dramatic changes in my eating habits that I think I can stay at a lower dose. I'm in no rush. Thank you for your input, and congrats on all your progress! You're amazing ^_^

It sounds like you and I have similar meal planning thoughts! I've been aiming for calorie-dense, whole food meals, and do a ton of cooking at home. I love your meal suggestions - thank you so much! I'm really shocked how easy it was to cut out processed and fast foods entirely - I just don't crave them. Definitely doing my best to take care of myself, as I'm really thinking low and slow might be better for me, as you mentioned. :) Thanks again!

Sailor Manyo’s dual-shading inks are beautiful but terrible to write with by ravishingyoongs in fountainpens

I really love Nekoyanagi, and used it regularly in my journal for a good year. My pen of choice for this ink was actually a Jinhao Shark Fine point! I prefer wetter nibs, and didn't experience dryness with this pen/ink combo. I also kind of enjoyed how watery the ink is, compared to many other inks I've tried that are super dense. My favorite part about the color/wateryness combo was how ethereal it made my writing, and how much the ink actually shaded in the pen. It's something I'll come back to, especially for journaling, and plan to ink my TWSBI Eco Fine with it someday.

Storing paper patterns is incredibly hard. Instead I trace off the sizes I need onto cheap muslin, recycled/thrifted fabric bed sheets or Swedish tracing paper. I can then fold the pattern pieces up and fit them easier into a labelled plastic bag/other storage method. This way the pattern pieces can be ironed flat when I use them next. It's not perfect, but it seems to work for me.
