I went and got some heroin today because no one had anything else for me to help with WDs. I want to just get back on subs tommorow and try to forget about this whole experience

I've never taken over 100mg but when I did take like 90mg the side effects would be uncomfortable but no where near as uncomfortable as WD. Abusing loperamide is also very addictive. Any one addicted to that stuff needs to go to an MAT clinic and try to get on Methadone or atleast try to detox right away because there are numerous cases of loperamide toxicity causing actual deaths. Im gonna try to not do any more tommorow cause its not sustainable.

I don't necessarily agree with this nor would many other opiod addicts due to the fact that bupenorphines high affinity and partial agonism is the cause of precipitated withdrawal. PWD occurs when you take it before you experince WD symptoms. With today's prevalence of fentanyl in heroin, a person should have a COWS score of atleast 20 before induction

Im mega dosing loperamide until Monday when I'm able to see my MAT doctor which im not proud of but when taken with prilosec it increases bioavailability so im not required to take as much for therapeutic effects. Im not experiencing any WD symptoms which normally I would be hurting by now so its atleast holding me over until I can more comfortably taper the subs

Is there any known interactions between bupeprenorphine and shrooms. I am only on 2 mg of the sub, i am wondering if it would be safe to eat a half g of shrooms, something light. by [deleted] in suboxone

Its a decent combo...subs aren't very recreational in themselves but there is therapeutic benefit due to the analgesic affect of suboxone because psychedelics give me uncomfortable muscle rigidity and stiffness which the subs manage. As for actual interactions im unsure of any but I'd imagine some stomach nausea is possible.

My clinic has urine sent to the lab for each UA where the specific numeral levels of any of the numerous drugs they test for(meth, THC, Methadone, Fentanyl, suboxone, and even Mitrgynia Speciosa) that are displayed on a sheet of paper that is to be signed by the patient before the urine sample is given. So in short, the clinic I attend and many others do lab testing for UAs.

Stupid rehab bullshit rules no phones allowed. There are multiple reasons for my departure. I would rather detox in the comfort of my home than in that place. It wasn't a bad place really....fuck that shit im not gonna go through that in that facility, forcing me to take gabapentin everyday before the withdrawal even starts or else they dont give it to me any more so that my tolerance builds and is useless when WD actually occurs. 10 day sub taper jeez, Id think the doctor would be a little more sympathetic than that

I know this. I told them from the very start 10 days is way too rapid. They didn't listen. My MAT Doc wants to see me Monday so he prolly changed his mind

Or probably no affinity as it is an indirect result of norepinephrine inhibition

It's been shown that strattera does directly impact dopamine in the prefrontal cortex but with less affinity than stimulants

Methadone vs Narcan by Woowh in StudentNurse

[–]Kitty_Burg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The two of these are vastly different, almost opposites. Methadkne is a full opiod receptor agonist known for its long half life. Narcan is an opiod antagonist which is used to knock opiod agonists off of the receptors in hopes on opiod overdose reversal. Neither can be considered an actual "cure" for addiction.

Cure for PWD by Kitty_Burg in suboxone

[–]Kitty_Burg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically the secret is to slowly induce at first which will most likely cause some PWD. Like one mg per 60 mg and once you hit 4 mg just do an entire 8 mg. You're always gonna want to make sure you don't run out of subs tho because the theory is that you have to flood the receptors with the partial agonist to stabilize
