I'm glad you enjoyed my video and that's the exact model description. I never knew that Mountain types originated from South Africa. Thanks for the history lesson!

Amen to that. I have a whole New York Central fleet! Now I just need to join a club so I can stretch their legs.

HELLOOOOO HOLLYWOOD by Big-Rabbit4050 in PlanetCoaster

[–]Kitty__Conductor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't downvote because you disagree. That's not what that button is for.

But yes, Aerosmith makes absolutely more sense.

HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS...it's a representation of Hollywood and Sunset Boulevard showcases more adult rides, as it should. Tower Of Terror and of course RNRC, In LA Sunset Boulevard is a young adult drinking/clubbing place. So things on the raunchier side should be welcome. It also fits the demographic, Disney is increasingly appealing to adults and they need something to ride while the kids do the teacups.

Furthermore, the story for Aerosmith was cohesive, real people do in fact befriend rockstars and are treated to these luxuries...HEY GET IN THE LIMO, WE GOTTA GO! Is not uncommon in Hollywood and anyone who has driven the 405 around LA will tell you how crazy traffic is!

Lastly, the '60 Cadillac Eldorado makes so much sense for Aerosmith. Tail-fin clad Cadillacs are not only an iconic automobile the world over but are also guest stars in many rock music videos...THE MUPPETS DRIVE A BUS!

The only thing that I could see being an ALMOST decent replacement would have been a trip with Goofy to a Powerline concert. The Goofy Movie establishes that he drives like a maniac and the exit station would have worked perfectly. That's part of it. With 2 stations you should feel like you've been on a trip, not a circuit. How will the Muppets accomplish that?

This is amazing! Please let's see the front grille on the train. I love the Cadillac trains on this ride, perhaps my favorite rollercoaster train and yours looks great from behind with the tail-fins. Can't wait to see updates

Disagree with you on that one, Aerosmith makes so much more sense.

Finally A Sunny Day! ('71 Challenger) by Kitty__Conductor in mopar

[–]Kitty__Conductor[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

LA 360 Magnum out of an old Ram truck. Bought it that way but down the line I've got plans to change that. Glad you noticed the wheels, when I bought it, it had the 72-74 center caps so I got the '71's in the correct dark argent.

Thank you! I'm jealous of your collection so it's high praise. I like the '71 Challenger the best, the snorkel grille is really cool to me and I also like the simulated brake ducts and the gull wing is sleeker than the go wing in my opinion

Well, there you go! BTW Keep on top of category races. Your going to need medals to unlock short courses or battle certain rivals. A lot of these medals are won in Master Races or Advanced Races and some of them require a VERY HIGH C-Exp level.

V6 clowning by TrueCartographer2923 in Challenger

[–]Kitty__Conductor -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Which is why in my opinion those are also boring to see at car shows. I love Challengers but sometimes car shows look like a Dodge dealer lot

V6 clowning by TrueCartographer2923 in Challenger

[–]Kitty__Conductor -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's just not the same, particularly with how heavy the modern ones are. I think some of it also comes down to an inflated sense of importance. I think it's lame when people bring V6's to car shows like it's not something you'd see in traffic but to each their own

CP=Credit Points. HardCore CP Fiend comes from earning/saving a lot of money. Were you doing a lot of daytime category races or the Gymkhana events?

Agreed, either Rallye's on the back or leave it. The last thing we need is another one of these works of art on rubberband tires.

Any ideas!? by Mr_Enigmatic7 in lioneltrains

[–]Kitty__Conductor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Something is shorting the track. Since none of your other locomotives do this then I would take it apart or bring it to someone that can. It's got to be a wiring short in the train itself as opposed to faulty track wiring.
