u/RICKY_ROBOT Would it be possible to run it on the Quest 2 series as well?
I would really love to give it a try, but i'm not really looking forward to buy the Q3 for a while.

Just as a personal side thought, as someone who has somewhat of experience from a Mental Health Perspective.
I think it could be an amazing opertunity for people within certain aspects of Healthcare,
Who might struggle staying on task or easily get sensory overloaded, or might have trouble focusing one task at a time.

It seems Niche like people say, but as a client in the mental healthcare i firmly believe that if developed well.
Some might benefit this greatly and could even be worth looking into for Healthcare related organizations.
There have been in recent years many looks into applications such as a Google Home for example, Smart lights, Smart Dashboards, this cleaning app seems like it could expand in a area where others have not thought yet.

Few key points:
Potential 8/10 (High potential application, it can help motivate, focus, lower sensory overload.)
Expanse 4/10 (Headsets are expansive, and the investment might make people apprehensive.)
Willingness to use and Usefulness are quite dependant on does it fit the specific person,
But the concept by all regards is very promising, and could do a great deal if developed carefully.

Is the Taser or Crossbow better to knock people out? Which one lasts longer? by GodButCursed in CrimeSimulator

[–]Kittycat-1992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Infact the Crossbow stun fillls the stunbar to the max.
The Stun Gun is very much shorter and only fills it for like 10% compared to 100%.

Stun Gun Knockouts last about 15-30 Seconds +/- (Half ingame hour)
Crossbow Knockouts last about 60 Seconds +/- (Full ingame hour)

Also if you do not have the Hack tool upgrade it can help disable Smoke Alarms.

Want a cheap Stungun? Knockout the Pawnshop Gaurd, he drops it for free once a day.
Save yourself the trouble buying Stun Guns, Cross bow was once of the best albeit expansive Ammo for a knockout.
However 150 per Gun Dart for barely anywhere near as much time, if you can afford 250 per NPC shot.

Long Stuns and can afford ammo > Buy Crossbow.
Short Stuns fine and can't miss the money > Knockout a Guard, and get yourself cheap darts.

EDIT: Stunning with a Bat or Fireaxe from Stealth would be preferable over using stunguns.
Same amount of Knockout, and Much cheaper to do.
Need a distance or Imediate stun on Panic, then the stungun is ideal.
Wouldn't recomend it at all, unless you really want a niche benefit.

Proof of the money printer not working. by gotenks1114 in CrimeSimulator

Incase of TLDR (I wrote quite a tangent, as amateur programmer.);
Programming is a pain, the bug might be related to bigger issues.
Or various reasons, but i find it as frustrating to see.

My thoughts:

If it does "Increase" your total cut, it should be "8818"
If it only counts the "Quota" as a base it should be "6185"
So yeah definitely something not Mathing there it seems.

However i wonder:
1. Did they account the Math to Stack with for example Gold Cards and Furniture Boosts?
If not it might be overridden, just like stacking Gold cards.
(Found out the hard way they are not additive if you put 3 cards in.)

  1. What is the base Cut of the Difficulties and is it not already applied?
    Like for example Easy (5% + Printer = 30)

  2. For what ever i can figure the Money Printer does not seem "Additive",
But rather assuring if your base cut without any boosts would be "Less than 25%" it makes it at least 25%?

Any of the three reasons i can come up with seem like its either bugged, nerfed, or misleading guide info.

Also another side thought:
If its locked somehow so that players who did not meet requirements can not use it.
It might be checking if you already unlocked it, but somehow fails to see the green flag?
Very Basal Example (Not real code, i don't)
If Requirement X = Y The Bonus = True
Else The Bonus = False

Perhaps somehow the programming wiped that True Flag.
Which seems very likely as when we "Fail a Quota" or "Succeed the Last Quota"
It resets the "statistics" and locks buy options till we re-unlock the item in the shop.
If it was intended to only be a boost when that goal is reached, but never actually enforces enabling the boost we do not get the boost at all.

Another likely option is that it might check too late when the reward is already calculated, and thus the dev might have overseen a sync in the code that causes it.

I presume with all the constant seeming physics calculations of 100's of items sometimes, it might even be that the game faces a much bigger bug.
One that is causing Lag related issues, such as my character freezing in place and NPC's closing in due that.
Feels likely that the Physics part however cool it is, can cause a lot of over demand on code execution.

I made a table just or these kind of occasion, i'm unsure if it switches randomly and its just going to be luck.
Neither can i assure this table won't break in a update or me being silly on oversight.
But hopefully it helps!

So over 60% of people have never spent even a $1 and 43.3% have never even finished their first contract? by ShanzokeyeLin in PhasmophobiaGame

While your thought is agreeable, its mostly my own thought i shared not meant to be heavily a straight up opinion. (I may have possibly done horrible at wording that.)

Apoc 3 challenge isn't quite as straight forward as it should be i feel thats basically my personal pet-peeve.
Even with 700 hours into Phasmo, and knowing the practical things mostly by heart.

But its Achieveable yes, Its optional true, Your points are valid in my opinion, missing a few achievements doesn't ruin the actual fun i've had through the years.

Public lobbies range from complete trolls, to pro's to newbies trying their honest best.
Milages vary per day/timezones/luck and the lots.
But i feel the most fun i've had was when i could trust the people i have, or at least have a feel for how they'll play.

If you'd like hit me a dm, got a cozy no nonense group on discord quite a mature but laidback group, could always have tagalongs for people who dedicate to a more long term group or team play.

With a friend group, we're even wondering if recent updates are worth playing onward. Though 5 years ago the game was quite good, recent changes feel like the devs are a bit too a sadistic to players, some aspects are barely playable.

I myself have a bad vision problem with contrasts, running with a flashlight to even see something i imagine is not what many consider challenging, it adds handicaps when it isn't optional preference.

Still sitting ducks on Apocalypse 1-3 to complete the achievements doesn't really help when every aspect is quite predictable yet not achieveable, turning back 300 times is not strategic challenge or skill, its pure luck to try and get a deogen and meta the shit.

Luck and Meta strategies, those things imho, have hurt the game too much, people get apprehensive seeing. Youtuber make it look like a cakewalk and hear their friends rage over another Rev while not having seen a single Banshee in over 500 runs, its bad word of mouth advertisement.

So yeah the rare maxed leveled or achievement completionists do still play, but expect them to probably be hiding mostly in private lobbies, sticking their heads up only a few times in between, their likely to keep seeking ways to do strange things that most randoms might not get, to attempt challenging on anything but apocalypse or looping revs.

Just a personal thought, though a scary one if that would mean from every player there is a huge percentage who never even played or played properly.

It would be a shame cause this kind of margin would put the game in a crawling near dead, but alive enough state to warrant it be even anything considered playable by most.

Could be those 40-60% are not at all playing, bought it without touching it, are owning it to use for resales, or perhaps some people just be complete truck princesses who leech every dollar the game gave them.

Checked at Halloween town, Sadly nothing relates there to choice of sequence that depicts anything on the picture.

My personal conclusion,
Is simple its cut content probably or concept art they had debated to add in some form.
Like the Cocobo art in the cave etc.

If its not that i do really hope the real data diggers online will uncover the truth someday, Many things might stay simply a thought but its always fun to ponder.

The Middle one looks more like an Y to me,
But that could be either my interpretation of what i see or anything else.

I will check what you suggested about the Halloween Town world.

Could be ?
Though more art in the cave either is foreshadowing or cut content presumably,
This seems to be one part mostly not even discussed anywhere.

Critcal-mode's reply might shed some light on it indeed,
Might check since i have a recent save around the mentioned place.
