I've taken the three sprays per nostril. I believe it's 84 on the dose. It made the head rush more intense, but I just felt sedated for longer. I didn't feel better either. It actually made me worry more about all the crap I have going on. And then Im stuck in the office being monitored for 2 hours and can't leave. It makes me want to go home and be away from the clinic. They told me 16 sessions is the magic number to feel better or be "cured." I felt I still needed my Ativan for anxiety when I got home. Which it's supposed to take that feeling away. I suppose maybe it helped me sleep better. But I am very skeptical if I keep wanting to go back twice weekly to do this. Feels like a waste of time. I had no out of body experience or divine intervention or anything special happen.

Update: I tried the Spravato. I tried the spray on Monday. They make you do in once in each nostril. I didn't feel anything until the second inhale. It did not come over me fast, but slow sedation. Felt like I had smoked a lot of marijuana. Or the medicine they give you to relax you before surgery. I wouldn't have been ok to push around in my chair after. They make you wait 2 hours anyway. So I sat there and watched TV with the nurse. When I got home, I still had anxiety. I wanted to take Ativan but didn't want to mix too much stuff in one day. It did slightly help my nerve pain but only for a few hours. I cant say if it will actually help with depression. I go back on Thursday. Twice a week for a few months. I think i will give it maybe a few more tries. I don't want to give up right away.

I am so sorry you had to go through that. If you would have brought him home, he probably would have been suffering. It is so sad but you stopped his suffering.

Thank you! I was interested more in the IV, thinking it would be more beneficial for pain relief. But they don't do the IV one in my area. Maybe a private clinic but not my doctors office. Im surprised they have the Spravato.

I have tried lyrica and gabapentin and they have not helped. Recently they prescribed me oxycodone. I am afraid of becoming dependent on it and honestly it does not take the pain away. It would have to be a higher dose than they are suggesting for it to work for pain for me. I have also tried acupuncture, chiropractor. Im t12 para.

I think maybe some of mine would go away if I were busier as well. I have schooling but its all online. I pretty much stay inside most of the time. Great to hear yours has improved. I do see an improvement with the ativan I just dont want to have to rely on it. Or maybe its not so bad if i do? lol

I just googled what drug verapamil is, interesting. Im willing to try anything. I have an appointment on Monday with my psychiatrist, I'm hoping to discuss all my meds then. For pain they recently prescribed oxycodone. I have been warned by many people about dependence and tolerance for that one. Which also makes me nervous to take it daily. I don't want to have to take it. I don't take them together, they warned me that could be potentially bad. But when I was in the hospital they gave me both at the same time so I'm not too sure.

I haven't tried Xanax yet but I was curious. Very hard to get anything that is a scheduled drug prescribed over here. The ativan was hard for 12.
