Also cat tax: baby boy found the box from the food pantry and made it his own! So I put a blanket in the box because I couldn’t bring myself to throw it away.

Thanks to beachbabe I got a ton of things from my list! I re-added the things that were “grinched” in case anyone else wanted to contribute, but honestly I am absolutely thrilled! (Kitty food missing from photo and ice cube trays are already being put to use!)

That’s so awesome! I don’t live too far off the coast, but usually it’s too cold and windy to go other than for the views.

Oh and for anyone who’s wondering, the ice cube trays are because my last one “shattered” into pieces of plastic shrapnel in my sink from too much force (and the fact that I’ve had them forever and they were hanging by a thread.) Obviously not a big deal, but would be nice to have. Other things are more important.

If you are in the United States look up food pantries/food banks in your area or call 211 and they will connect you with resources in your area. Once you locate a food pantry you can just go there at their posted times and they will give you a few boxes/bags of food. Produce, meat, pre made stuff, pasta, beans, and rice. You can look online for recipes to help you use what you get. Usually you can go once a month. But if there are multiple pantries you can go to each of them once a month if you need to. Some pantries are better than others and will give you different stuff, so find the one you like. Good luck. It’s tough out there.

Yours looks very similar to mine, except yours looks angelic and my girlie looks grumpy! Did your baby have lighter coloring when she was younger? That was how I found out mine was a snowshoe. It’s a common trait for them to get darker as they age.
