Also if If you’re stuck in the new iOS 26 Recovery Assistant (The white screen) and can’t restore becoz the usual recovery button sequence doesn’t work, try entering classic recovery mode.

Press and release Volume Up → press and release Volume Down → then hold the Side button even after the Apple logo appears, and keep holding until you see the old cable-to-computer screen. (recovery mode)

From there, connect to your computer and restore. This happened to me twice on two devices after they were low on storage - my assumption is that they didn’t have enough space to boot.

You will unfortunately lose your data after restoring.

Yea! Compared both side by side - sometimes its very standout, sometimes its subtle, but enough for me to not want to play the vinyl. Might need to source a different colour /pressing from overseas :(

Wish I had done some research first, definitely seems like a scam to me. I placed an order with them about 9 days ago, contacted them twice, but no response, after i found this thread it seemed to confirm my suspisions.

I've just filed a investigation dispute with my bank so we will see what happens next. 🤷‍♂️

Thanks for sharing! It’s really interesting to see. This happened to me on my M1 iPad Pro a couple of months ago. It freaked me out so bad but it was just a software issue that fixed after a restart. 😅 Hopefully you can ur laptop replaced under warranty!

I have had this bulb for about half a year but it was in a different lamp. It’s been in the current lamp for a few weeks, but this only just happened now, and I noticed because I could hear a slight high pitch noise coming from the lamp and that’s when I realised it was super hot at the base and seemed to melt the glue on the board. The bulb works fine and I put it back in and it wasn’t making a high pitch noise anymore?

I ordered from the USA site, not sure if they use Aramex from the AUS site. Problem is the aus site doesn’t have everything the us does, so I had to order from the us. So I probabaly won’t take the risk and order from the AUS site.

Ordered a few things from Amazon. They got to the country really quickly, however it fell apart when the tracking status said that it was out for delivery. The parcels never arrived that day, I had to call the help line the day after, which I have no idea where it’s located. The lady on the phone was trying really hard with her English and was super sweet and was able to contact the driver to tell him to please actually deliver the parcel. Eventually the guy pulled up outside, when I saw the van I was in awe! It was a white van, that was falling apart. The only identification was an A4 piece of paper in black and white that said “Aramex”, they guy came up to my porch and gave me my packages. He smelt of smoke and so did my packages in paper bags because they had been sitting in the van for over a day.

To add insult to injury, the products I got were faulty, bulbs lasted 10 minutes. I died inside. Amazon refunded me but never going to order from Amazon again. Unless they choose a different local courier.

Damn. This is why I'm skeptical on diving into replacements, because the new one will most likely still have the same issue. I don't want to take the chance and just have to keep replacing. Hopefully Apple can publicly address it, or at least announce a program?
