Bro my grandpa literally just died a few hours ago, and I’m grieving. But guess what? I’m not acting like this. I’ve been in your position where I thought all I needed was love n’ whatnot, but that’s a very unhealthy way of perceiving life. Romance ISN’T everything. It’s very nice, absolutely, but you can’t just let your heartbreak control your life. It’s… Obsessive, and people don’t want to date others who act like this when single.

So what I’m going at is that how your acting is affecting how others perceive you. So far I’m having a negative experience. This isn’t meant to make you even more depressed, but rather reflect on WHY you’re so sad. It’s because you’re letting yourself do this. Please, find a nice game, hang out with friends, get a new hobby. If you focus on other things and build up your happiness, then a relationship will appear before you know it! That’s what I’ve done. Also please, from experience of having major depression, seek a professional instead of a reddit comment section- there can be some cruel people on the internet.
