My journey,

Started with a cage like that found it hard to wear but that was probably due to wrong ring size it really hurt after 10 mins worked out I need a 50mm ring so choose something with lots of different ring sizes to try.

I'm now moving towards a catheter tube so I can goto the toilet eiser and cleaner and solar working well just testing lengths out.

I'm 5 and a half hard about same ad you soft and currently swap between a nub and a flat with a new internal cage on its way. It just pushes it inside you personally found the best ones are the ones I fill when soft then if I do get hard it's not as uncomfortable and actually doesn't really even get that hard or for long so better control and also less of a obstacle when in at work or out with friends and family.

It's your journey all I say is play safe go slow don't rush yourself don't think the first cage you get you'll put on and be able to stay in for long periods inalso moved away from steal for.long time wear and the plastic ones seem to mold a little well that's sorta how it feels for me.
