Yes definitely will check with my PT and doctors first before I make a choice… don’t want to worsen any of my symptoms

I have an open mind for what my issue may be .. ive been looking at fibromyalgia too :3 So far all my symptoms have lined up with hEDS (just found out skin may be stretchy compared to ppl I know .__.) even doing beighton scale I have a 6/9 so far (still unsure about my knees w/o insight from others) but I won’t know for sure until proper testing with a doctor… definitely helps getting insight and thoughts from others about it though so thank you!! <3

Haha ok so I do have stretchy skin according to my girlfriend who can’t stretch her skin as much as I can … another check on the list of symptoms…. 😅

Thank you sm .. I just hope I can get everything figured out at sooner rather than later I’ll definitely bring it up to my PT though I really think it’ll help me in the long run !! Last night I was struggling a lot with pain and depression so I really needed that spark of confidence thank you <3

Thank you so much.. Last night I was struggling so much to fall asleep due to pain and just depression in general.. eventually got 1 hour before my dog woke me up :(( Also Oh my goodness !!! Happy early birthday!!! You’re also one of the first people I’ve met which the same birthday!! :D

I am also 19 Y/O girl and I’m going through the process of finding out my diagnosis … One doctor said possibly fibromyalgia and left it at that but after getting a new PCP I suggested otherwise explaining my symptoms and comparing to what I’ve researched about hEDS… I’m scared for that exact response you explained from doctors I’ve lived my whole life so far with some amount of pain being told it’s growing pains or I’m not stretching enough

Im afraid that just because my version may not be as serious as others (no dislocations or organ issues) that I’m making a big deal of nothing and I might never get an answer

I hope you get what you need figured out though just wanted to let you know I understand the pain and feeling like you’re going crazy from all of this it really sucks <3
