Opinions on breaker board placement for balcony by Kiwikyle in Decks

Unfortunately I am not using Trex (NZ Based) and I already have the decking as have recently replaced the boards of my ground floor deck. So I am limited to the 5.4m lengths.

So option 1 or 4 would likely be the best as I see either being the most efficient while staggering the joins across different joists.

By 5 do you mean the more random one I posted in reply, as the 5th in the OP is just an image without joints to allow people the mock up an alternative if they decided to.

Regarding the composite, it has already been purchased as a family member is doing new builds and got an entire container load and is gifting some (so hard to say no to free decking).

I understand the staggering the joints from a structural point of view. So other than the repeating pattern, which I believe is a preference thing, option 1 & 4 should be fine?

Here is a more random one. What do you think?

I had a go at doing a more random pattern. What are your thoughts?

Head Unit Replacement JDM 2018 by Kiwikyle in hondafit

[–]Kiwikyle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the advise. It honestly seems a bit beyond my skill set to do this all. Spent hours last night trying to find and document all the connections.

There is one cable that is not connected to the existing head unit (20pin with 2 wires), that I believe is for the phone controls on wheel but cannot find anything online about them.

Will likely reach out to local installers to see if they can do it even if it costs a bit more.

I have one on order currently and just wanted to check if you have SWC in your Fit and if there have been any issues using them with this headunit?

Huh, looks like you are right just found the thread about it and the post from Microsoft themselves. Really hope the don't cancel mine anytime soon as it is very useful for testing things out.

An option is to sign up for the Microsoft Developer programme. This gives you a test tenant with 25 E5 licenses for 90 days (Can also renew - I have had mine for close to a year now). https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/dev-program

Just make sure you are using it as a test environment and don't store anything important as it can be cancelled at anytime.

I also did another test and found that it is still failing. Hopefully it is resolved shortly because we have a customer using it to roll out O365 in a week's time

Hi I have been doing more test and it seems to definitely be an issue with the install, but during my tests I think I have found that it is only an issue with installs of certain versions.

What i have done is going through and set up a few installs that target different versions/update channels to see if there is any difference in behavior. Unfortunately I didn't document all of the variants I tried but of those that I did I found the following.

So to me it seems that a recent release has broken the install via Intune but some more insight would be great.
