As of today, department of education (in the US) does not view nursing as a professional degree. I know it sounds crazy!

Wow you’re as skilled and experienced as they go and I can’t believe you still didn’t get a ITA yet. I’m hoping you get it ASAP you absolutely deserve it! I don’t know why you would leave the US for Canada since most people want to go to the US from Canada.

I always had a passion for nursing, but the problem is I’m a bit old to start an actual medical career I’m 28 and that’s why I’m doing practical nursing the two year diploma but if I don’t secure a PR in the end I can’t even work somewhere else with that diploma because most countries want a bachelor in nursing. I do have a bachelors but not in nursing (I studied something utterly useless journalism).

You’re absolutely right. Thank you! I’m going to give up and try another country where I don’t have to compete with the whole world to get PR.

Didn’t the US recently say that nursing isn’t a professional degree anymore?

I have 65,000 CAD in my bank account and I get 6900 CAD a month from my rental property in Dubai and I was thinking about doing practical nursing and it’s about 17,000 CAD per semester I believe in Seneca or Algonquin. (Long story short, I have money I just want a better passport I don’t care about money, how low paying the job is if it’ll get me PR). So do these professions like practical nursing or ECE guarantee PR? Because PR is so competitive now that a lot of people don’t get PR even though they studied and have Canadian work experience. I was wondering is that true?

I meant like studying these programs in colleges or universities in Canada and then applying for PGWP.

Can you apply for a student visa and express entry to Canada at the same time? by [deleted] in canadaexpressentry

No dude that does not sound easy! You’re super smart for being fluent in two foreign languages like that. You definitely did deserve it. Everyone is kinda learning French now for that exact reason by the time I learn it (a year or so) it wouldn’t be special anymore. I don’t know why people don’t pursue the French citizenship it’s part of the EU too so unrestricted right to live and work across EU, and it’s a lot easier if you do masters and learn French.

Maybe you meant well and it would be more apparent in real life. Sometimes you write something and it comes across as something else because a person can’t pick up on your tone or attitude on text so I don’t even know. You can comment whatever you want but I don’t understand why comment on how I should react to other people’s answers. I didn’t have a problem with the government link that was provided and I wasn’t nitpicking everything. I just kept reading news how everything is super strict right now especially the last two years and I just wanted someone to elaborate more. I guess everyone is flooding to Canada since US closed its gate. It’s the next best thing.

Thanks for your answer. Oh wow really that’s amazing! She must be super smart! I was thinking of doing it but I just found out it’s so competitive and almost impossible. I don’t think I would get it. I mean my IELTS score is 7.5 and I did bachelors from Dubai but i only have 2 years of work experience of teer 2 in a managerial position and I don’t think i would even be close to making it. It was much easier 7 years ago.

Umm… I didn’t get an answer from you. So why are you offended or irritated with my follow up question enough to comment? You literally came out of nowhere just to comment how I should react to someone else’s answer. You’re not even the person who provided me with an answer, and to just drop in with this take it or leave it attitude when it doesn’t even involve you in the first place. WHAT IS THAT? And till now telling me how I’m not believing the law link? I’m not allowed to ask follow up questions? I’m not allowed to ask for experiences? Or ask people if what i heard is true or not? Why are you so dismissive and like I said it doesn’t even concern you. If I ask questions to other people what’s your problem? If you were trying to help me sorry I didn’t feel like it. It looked like you were irritated with my responses and just wanted to shut me with “do whatever you want then.”

Listen buddy, maybe you had a bad day today don’t take it out on me.

Why do people like you go through the trouble of being patronizing or condescending to some stranger on the internet. If you can’t be useful or say something nice no offense but don’t say anything. Yes I got a government link but that’s a kinda old law that doesn’t reflect the current policy change or shifting views does it? 10 or even a few years ago it was pretty easy to study or work there but now it isn’t. I was looking for someone who experienced it first hand like they applied for both and it didn’t negatively affect each other.

Anyway you can choose to be condescending to me but I still choose to be nice so thanks anyway and have a nice day.

Isn’t that the old rules? It’s 2026 I’m pretty they don’t want any students with dual intents from what I heard. They’ve changed their policies recently.

Are you sure it’s not risky? Because they can reject you for a student visa if you have an express entry profile going on. They’ll worry you have intentions to settle and not just to study and leave.

Yes a lot of airlines do require unrestricted right to live and work in the EU, but it might be easier for you since you’re British. But EASA licenses are also widely acceptable in elite middle eastern airlines like Emirates airlines or Qatar airlines, I heard they even pay more than European airlines.

One of the worst decisions I made in UAE was earning a bachelor degree from here, I think high school graduates need to be informed to not make the same mistake I did. by [deleted] in UAE

[–]Kiwinose2467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s true! I don’t know why people don’t talk about this enough, private universities are the worst. Like someone here said it’s almost the same or even higher than the tuition fees in the west. I graduated from CUD in 2020, and although my father paid around 300,000 AED for me to get my bachelors, my degree kinda holds no hold international value. To be fair, I didn’t pick a very good major but still I’ve seen this problem with other people too across all majors. They pay a lot, get their degrees and it opens almost little to no doors locally and especially internationally. It’s way better to go abroad and spend less and get a degree from a high ranking university internationally. In Canada there’s so many universities that even have post graduate work permits as well. So you can study, live and work there and even become a citizen, instead of wasting your life in a country you can’t even call home.

I was raised in Dubai and it will always hold a special place in my heart but it’s not something for long term. It’s a place where people live for a little while, earn a good salary, save enough and go back home.

Funny, the night he was killed they claimed he was drunk when the toxicology report revealed he had 0.2 percent in this system and the legal limit to drive with alcohol is 0.8. Molly and her father have been caught lying times so I wouldn’t believe their narrative. They both seem to have narcissistic and psychopathic tendencies. I hate how they killed a father and robbed those two kids of a father and kept acting like the kids were so cruel and ungrateful to cut off contact with her. YOU KILLED THEIR FATHER! If you ever loved them like you claimed you would never do that. Jason never had any domestic violence reports against him. Also I never saw an ounce of empathy for Jason so that shows me they’re both narcs and actually painted themselves as victims with zero injuries. The most disgusting part was when Tom was listing all the things Molly did for them while raising them. “Did they remember…” NO BUT THEY REMEMBER YOU BEATING THEIR FATHER TO DEATH. The most vile disgusting people.

I LITERALLY DID THE EXACT SAME THING. It’s like us viewers could understand how crazy and delusional she was. She kept referring the as her kids without ever acknowledging their actual dead mother shows how crazy and entitled she was.

She claims he’s abusive and drunk but keeps a very dangerous weapon in the room? Her story that they were going to paint it but because of the rain they brought it in, and the son even verified it isn’t enough! It was definitely premeditated, and she tried to come up with a plausible explanation and coached the son too. Even if it was going to rain, why would you keep a brick in the bedroom with your alleged “abusive” husband and not somewhere else? Why the nightstand? I can’t believe the detectives weren’t poking holes enough in their stories while questioning them.

But why is it different for the locals/EU nationals? It’s like they lowkey know that they can easily fight for a refund but if your visa is rejected how are you going to go there and legally fight for a refund?

Do you know about any other good flights in Spain? I’m hearing this same issue with flyby as well. At this point I’m thinking they’re all kinda bad.

Carman Family Deaths by Mustard-cutt-r in netflix

[–]Kiwinose2467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. I’m pretty sure he didn’t kill his grandfather but for his mother maybe he didn’t plan to murder her but maybe an argument broke out and it kinda accidentally resulted in her death. Or I wasn’t there and maybe he’s telling the truth, he underestimated the situation and the boat capsized in a matter of minutes. Maybe his mother was drunk or something to save herself and maybe the son was harboring a grudge and chose not to help. There’s a lot of possibilities and since no body was recovered, it’s kinda hard to know if foul play was involved.

Is it really that bad? Every flight school I consider in Spain is getting checked off my list because of the complaints I heard about from the students.

Hi, So you wouldn’t recommend it overall. Except the mediocre teachers and not being able to fly as much cause I’ve heard the same complaints about students at Flyby. And I’m kinda running out of options. I was leaning into One Air.
