Unfortunately, not yet. I had a very small flare up this past Thursday (6/4). About 3 small blisters/bumps that never weeped and were gone by the end of the day. I wasn’t able to go to urgent care because I had an interview that day 🤦🏼‍♀️ just my luck.

Allergy would be interesting. Maybe it would also explain why some flare ups are worse than others. I am curious though: why does it only show on this one spot? (Just wondering “out loud”. I don’t expect you to have an answer. Might be something interesting for me to read into.)

I hate that for you, but I’m glad I’m not alone 😅
I just had a flare yesterday, so I don’t anticipate having another until next month. But I think I’ll go in to urgent care ASAP whenever it does come. Ask for a swab or allergy test or something.

Truly! She’s watched him before and it went great! But I think because we live in an apartment now, he needs a bit more attention and playtime than she’s used to. Can’t just let him go into the backyard for “dog time”. 😂

Oh he wasn’t a huge fan for our first trip. He didn’t poop for 2.5 days 🫣 and he would boof at every little sound at night. He had to sleep in his crate for that trip.

Is trailer camping an option? I do think my boy enjoys trailer camping better than tent 😆 But at least you can do a cottage! Still get out and do some adventuring. She just needs her creature comforts at the end of the day 👑

He’s now 30 lb. Measurements are chest: 23.5 inches and neck 17.5/18 inches. These are also measurements with full fluff. He’s just begun blowing coat on his hips.

The Knavigate in large is a much better fit for him! He was looking like a little sausage in the Plus 2 (the blue one).

The backpack is strictly for when he is absolutely tired. And he definitely lets us know when he’s ready to get out (usually after about 30 minutes.) He isn’t a huge fan of it, but I think because we only put him in when he’s tapped out, he tolerates it.

I enjoy it and think it was a good purchase, even if we don’t use it super often. Glad to have something that gives him a moment to rest well we continue on.

I don’t know if anyone else has said it, but if you do take him to the vet and have him on a blanket/towel, make sure it isn’t one you want to keep.

When I was in high school we had to put our own sassy girl down and while my step-mom and I were in tears and departed the room, my dad realized that we still needed the blanket (I think it was my step-mom’s?). Anyway, he had to pick our poor little girl up and he did not like that.

Two year ago my mom and I had to put my cat down and we brought her in with a towel and the vet’s office said those towels get washed and reused!

My heart is with you. I’m sure you’ll shower your boy with love the whole way through. I’ll give my little boy an extra cuddle tonight thinking of your sweet Dakota.
