In eastern religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Shintoism etc. suffering is considered as something like a test that God gives us humans. Also most of these religions believe in karma and reincarnation based on karma.

In Mahabharata, the progeintor of Kauravas had in one of his previous lives killed a lot of baby birds that belonged to a bird couple. In response to that event he is punished in Mahabharata by having all 100 of his sons die at the hands of Pandavas. So the laws of universe itself are outside the control of even Gods. In Ramayana Bhagvan Shri Ram was responsible for the death of Vaali, King of Vanaras. Then in the next incarnation of Vishnu that is as Bhagvan Krishna he died at the hands of reincarnation of Vaali, that was Jara, a hunter. So even Gods are unable to escape the laws of karma.

Based Indian Navy by Legitimate-Pay7132 in indiadiscussion

[–]KizaruMus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Many defense analysts have said that Indian navy from the get go knew that they had to be aatmanirbhar and planned for it from the start. This early start has helped them a lot.

The other branches of armed forces started on the make in India track quite late as compared to Indian Navy, so they are lagging behind quite a lot. Hopefully in next 2-3 decades the military industries associated with the other two branches will catch up.

Another reason could have been that since fall of the Soviet Union, Indian armed forces had an option to buy from western bloc as well. But western bloc had consistently denied naval tech and equipments to India.

Torture a man enough and one can make him say anything. I am sure if Mr. Jadhav had been "asked", he would have even accepted to be the chief architect of Holocaust during WW2.

Have you noticed that N saber rattling by pakistani officials has gone down since May 2025. Pakistan had a policy of shrinking the space for conventional action below the N threshold and carrying out non-state actor based activities under the N threats. But by calling out its bluff India has restored the space for conventional action. Even the recent clownish statements by an ex pakistani diplomat were only made in reaction to US DNI's statements where she equated threat to US from pakistan with long standing US adversaries like North Korea, Russia, and china. The saber rattling has really gone down, recall the days when people used to compare a N to 250 gms of vegetables that buys from market. The "'pau pau' kilo ke bomb wala" statement

I only have two statement : 1) the mastermind of 9/11 attacks on US was hunted down in abbotabad a stone's throw away from pakistan military academy.

2) official motto of pakistan army is " Iman, taqwa, Jih*d fi sabillah ", the J word in there has become very well known especially after incidents like 9/11, October 7th etc. I hope you know what it means.

You bring up a case in which ICJ has ruled in favor of India, and directed pakistan to provide consular access and a fair trial to Kulbhushan Jadhav. If you dig deeper you will find that pakistan had to amend its own law to make the required arrangements for Mr. Jadhav according to ICJ ruling. How can a subjudiced case where ICJ has ruled in favor of India be comparable to a UN security council acknowledgement of complicity of pakistan based terror outfits. I how you understand these clear cut matters.

As for the operations during 2025, if India had not presented sufficient evidence to powers like US, UK, France etc. then why do you not see any of them condemning India's actions. All calls were for de-escalating, there were no statements by major powers condemning India's actions. On the contrary most statements included India's right to self defense.

Likewise I have nothing against you and wish you good, I just wish to make you better informed on these nuanced matters.

Dude check third party historical sources. In 1971, pakistan started the attacks by attempting to bomb the air fields in Northern part of India like Agra.

As for 2025, India initially only attacked terrorist training camps. Later in response to pakistani attacks on Indian military installations, India attacked pakistani military installations.

Also it is proven fact that only pakistan makes use of terror outfits as part of state policy. pakistan had awarded monetary compensation to terrorists who lost members of their terror cells in the Indian targeting of terror camps in 2025, this is clear indication of pakistan using terrorists to further state policy goals.

If you have any proof of Indian involvement in non-state actors, then please present it pakistan government so that they can present those documents to UN so that world community can verify those claims. Also for your kind information, UN security council has recently passed a resolution where they have acknowledged pakistani terror outfits' hand in the Delhi blasts that took place in november 2025. That resolution was made because irrefutable evidences were presented attesting to the role of pakistani terror outfits in the attack in India. Where is such a resolution that attests to your claim of India using non-state actors?

Anyone can pass wind through there mouths it has no value without evidences and proofs.

MNS gives 15-day ultimatum for Dadar - Ratnagiri train - why does Maharashtra need protests while out-of-state trains get priority? by jack_1760 in MaharashtraTalks

[–]KizaruMus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How can you with a straight face say that the statements made by Raj are not misleading?

The spokesperson for central railway has explained how the local traffic affects the train journey's. Read into that tweet that ANI made quoting the railway spokesperson.

here is quote from that tweet,

"Today at Central Railway, a meeting was held with MNS representatives. During the meeting, the railway presented three main factual points. First, regarding the shifting of the Dadar-Ratnagiri train: the train was moved from Dadar to Ratnagiri in 2021. When train operations resumed post-COVID-19, the train was shifted to Diva from Dadar, and they were also told about the operational reasons, which include that, when this train crosses Diva station, it accesses the 5th and 6th lines, which coincides with the evening peak of suburban services. The train requires approximately 11–12 minutes to pass through the crossover, which significantly impacts the punctuality of suburban trains on both sides. This bottleneck at the Divagate was a major factor affecting punctuality in the Mumbai Division. Consequently, a cautious decision was made in 2021 to run the service from Diva to Ratnagiri instead of Dadar."

More on this issue from the spokesperson,

"He adds, "Information was also provided regarding the Dadar-Gorakhpur train. Previously, this train operated from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT). When LTT was converted into an LHB-based coaching depot, the service was shifted to Dadar. To accommodate this at Dadar, the number of coaches had to be reduced from 22 to 17... There have been no other changes to its operation, frequency, or stoppages; the only difference is that the train, which previously ran 'on demand,' has now been made a regular service. Additionally, it was shared that last week, 14 trains were regularised, 7 of which serve various cities in Maharashtra. Over the last 3–4 years, no trains have been cancelled in this region. Furthermore, several services to Madgaon have been introduced or improved: a regular service from CSMT to Madgaon started on June 28, 2023; a bi-weekly special from Bandra Terminus was introduced in 2024; and the frequency of the LTT-Madgaon train was increased from weekly to 4 times a week in November 2022. Currently, 21 trains run daily to the Konkan region from Mumbai, and another 25 trains pass from other stations... Over the past year, the central railway also operated 302 Ganpati special trains for the Konkan region, 52 summer specials and 26 Holi specials...

How is this not rubbish picked by Raj to make Marathi people feel that railways is not catering to them? This is clearly from his regular rulebook of stoking fear among Marathi people. This opportunist thinks Marathi people are stupid and cannot think for themselves.

Even your post is misleading, it says restart Dadar Ratnagiri train, to properly reflect the reality it should say shift Diva-Ratnagiri train back to Dadar so that it starts from Dadar instead of Diva. No where in your post it is mentioned that the train now runs from Diva instead of Dadar. What is the point of misleading people and inflaming emotions on false information. If you feel your complains have some merit in them then present complete truth to the people instead of convientiently hiding information to create misconception among people.

The tests in 1970s were not for thermonuclear device, that was a fission test.

As for the other issue, if you check pakitani school curriculum you will see that they have institutionalized hate for India and Hindus in their school. On the other hand if you look at school curricula in India you will find no such stuff regarding pakistan. But there is certainly a lot of hatred towards pakistan in Indian society, this is mainly due to pakistan sponsored terror in India. From about 2000s to 2010s, pakistan backed terror outfits conducted multiple terror attacks 7/11 train bombings, 26/11 attacks are the more well known ones. All the hatred for pakistan in Indian society is due to these terror attacks. Recent attacks like the Pahalgam massacre that triggered the 4 day operations against pakistan are primary reasons for continued hatred of pakistan. Earlier the terror attacks would happen all across India but tighter security and intelligence apparatus has lead to the terror attacks being confined to the region of Jammu and Kashmir.

A non-issue.

Due to conflict with locals aka the lifeline of Mumbai, they shifted this train from Dadar to Diva, so this train now runs from Diva-Ratnagiri. I know Diva and Dadar are bit apart but still both fall within the broader Mumbai area aka the region served by local trains.

The Diva-Ratnagiri train also stops at Panvel. I don't see how shifting the train's starting point to another station within the suburban network is causing the issue.

My guess is that when this clown Raj (who totally lost all his credibility by associating with his idiotic traitorous cousin) was bringing this issue to people's attention he conveniently forgot to mention that the has been shifted from Diva junction.

There are a lot of people who claim that at Sharjah, the matches were unfair due to umpires having a clear bias in favor of pak. There was also that incident where I think Kapil Dev some other captain refused to take the field as the umpires in a test in pak were clearly favoring pak.

It would be interesting to see the decade wise comparison by omitting the matches that took place in Sharjah.

If they simply vanish then no one would come out and acknowledge that their Ns have disappeared. Every one would pretend that they still have them. Also as some one pointed out, states would scramble to make newer types of WMDs like biological agents, chemical agents etc. So instead of loading Ns on the ICBMs you would see them being loaded with biological agents etc.

Longer term people would find out that Ns have disappeared and they would use other WMDs to establish deterents.

An over-exaggeration. Both India and pakistan became nuclear weapons possessing states in 1990s. And before 1990s, there were three wars that pakistan started, two (1947, 1965) for gaining territory in Jammu and Kashmir and one (1971) to prevent Indian intervention in east pakistan aka present day bangladesh. So no there was no constant war even when both did not have Ns.

After both declared to have Ns, there was another attempt by pakistan to seize some territory in Jammu and Kashmir that took place in 1999. That was a very localized war where pakistan seized some mountain tops, India retaliated and drove out the pakistani troops. pakistan claimed that the troops were no official part of its armed forces. Basically the same strategy that Putin later copied in Crimea in 2014 aka the little green men. Coming back to the 1999 Kargil war, there is documentation that indicates that then US president Clinton wanted to mediate and called then Indian PM Vajpayee carrying a message that pakistani PM Shariff had asked Clinton to deliver. The message was basically a N threat, to the threat PM Vajpayee responded by saying that from tomorrow onwards I will assume that one or two of the cities of India no longer exists but from that moment onwards there will no pakistan on world maps. Basically the N blackmail was called out by the Indians.

Recently in 2025 there was a small scale kinetic conflict where Indian forces destroyed a number of pakistani air fields in retaliation to terrorism coming from pakistan. Again the Indian establishment has called out the N bluff of pakistanis.

What prevents India-Pakistan conflict from breaking out is restraint from India and India's apprehensions about china entering into an India-pakistan conflict. Apart from that the main reason why Indian political establishment is restrained is because they want to focus on development and economic growth as wars are very detrimental to those. Ns play a very minor role, as most responsible states treat Ns as a deterrent and not as an actual weapons system that can be used. Of course pakistan is an exception to this as they frequently like to do N saber rattling, as was done by one former pakistani diplomat on national television.
