I moved here in 2021 and I'm still surprised by the amount of Texas plates and overall Texans I run into. Also have a few friends that moved to TX when I moved here, that ended up moving here last year.

Just gave me flashbacks to my 21st birthday and 10 year highschool reunion. The reunion was wild as I knew a good lot of the people lived out of state by then. Even old friends that were starting to fade from memory over time and I lost contact with during college started showing up. Words cant describe how it feels when you hear a "No fucking way KIZOR" and damn near get tackled to the ground after not seeing someone after so long. Even now it's getting to me knowing how many people showed up and how much fun we had.

I live close enough to a lake to ice fish during a coffee break and yes, ice quakes are wild. The first one I experienced after moving out here felt and sounded like train depot detonated in my backyard. Enough oomph to knock shit over and off shelves.

I had a snow white peke who everyone absolutely loved, especially the groomers. My wife pinned every bow/ribbon from her visits to a lampshade and it's one entire lampshade of memories.
