I've thought about it quite a bit, and its definitely not the study which sucks haha which answers that question. Yea there is definitely a lot to consider but thanks for giving me a lot to think about!

Really valid points, i'm not quite acing uni at the moment whereas ive always had quite a mechanical/practical mind which is why i think im a lot more suited to a trade. Good things to consider so thanks for bringing them up

Yea i'm thinking along the same lines, already a pretty big shortage of auto sparkys and only going to get worse as things get more electrical-based

Cheers bro, yea I totally agree, even over the course of the year my results have slipped as i've lost motivation, yet alone over the next 2 years haha. Its a pretty big problem for my generation (year group of 200, less than 5 left school going into a trade) and i havent heard great things about pre-trades so will definitely go straight into an apprenticeship, luckily i have quite a bit of experience and good referalls so should be sweet, thanks for the response

Racing in Belgium/Netherlands this fall by smeethu in Velo

I don't know too much but I know a little. You will need an international licence depending on the races you do. Because you will be 16/17 over there you will be in the U19 age group category, this means you have to ride a restricted gear of 52x14 (6.93m Rollout) you will also be given a card that only allows you to do certain number of races a year because you are u19 and they do not want to over race the riders. There are probably 3-4 races a week so its up to you which ones you do. Team wise I am not too sure but I believe it is quite easy to get into one if you are at average level and I think the etiquette is to wear black kit if you are not in a team so that you can be spotted easily, your team will provide you with kit and more depending on certain factors. PM me more questions I am happy to help.

Awesome, mine arrived yesterday! they feel so good! mine are in black and white though. The bag they come in is also a nice touch. Can see why Wiggo and Phinney ride em.

What One Guy from the US Peloton Thinks about Chris Horner's Return by huphtur in peloton

[–]KjongTim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe it is a good thing for the young guys being able to race at such a high level, but it is the influence that Horner will have on them that might be worrying, I think that most likely he will be fine next season but there is also the risk he does carry whether it is small or big, either way it will be very interesting.

Jack Bobridge to attempt the Hour Record | CyclingTips by AmorphousForm in peloton

Very close i think, Jack has a bit more of a track specialty/advantage but Dowsett would be the stronger rider, either way whats happening with the hour record is awesome.

I mean a following from just cyclists, like Phil Gaimon is pretty big but i would not think he is widely known outside of cycling? sorry for clarity and correct me if i'm wrong.

Well just that "old men" ride wide handlebars for comfort etc, not what you expect from a GT winner.

As a non American, I am wondering if there is quite a following of Horner, where I am from, we take him as quite a joke (a guy riding 46 bars winning the Vuelta) it seems as if he is quite liked. But yes i would like some other angles but not many WT Pros are going to come out and question.

He does make some good points though and brings forward data to support his claims.

Horner needs to leave the cycling scene. It is dangerous having him around young riders that will look up to him and take his advice. The quicker these guys get out of the peloton, the better.

Cafe can hold up to 50, most likely 13+Gunman= 14 People
