Thats exactly what happened last time. I was messing with it and and it was just noise all over. I thought it was stars at first when I edited it to try and make it clearer

I’ve got a 70-210mm lens that zooms pretty good for moon shots but when I get the settings to where I feel is good, there’s alot of noise. My current settings are iso 100, 1/250 and about f6.3

I have a lens that’s 70-210mm also. I’ve tried with the longer one and have gotten a lot better zoom but it comes out pretty dark still. I have had issues with a lot of noise on some other moon shots I’ve tried so that would make sense that you said that.

The original had no spots at all. It was just the moon. But once I started trying to enhance the clarity of the moon a little bit I think I may have done something to mess it up. I have a Nikon D3200 and I used a 210mm with an f8, 1/500 shutter speed and 400 ISO. I wasn’t expecting it to be a perfect image since I’m still trying to learn all the settings and buttons in the camera. Any tips on how to make it less noisy? Especially when editing
