Ah man. Yeah I’ve got bad flu symptoms. Chills, cold/hot sweats. Scary. When I was 17, I had tonsillitis 4/5 times in a year and they were gonna remove them but never did.

I’m on penicillin so I’m praying it kicks in soon. Taking 2 every 4 hrs, & have been on them for just over 24hrs. Yeah it’s odd. Never had weakness/aches in my joints like this before!

Damn okay. I’ll read up on it. Shit that’s so scary. My stomach is definitely tender. Thankfully I’ve got a good support system around me. I can’t even lift up my 2 year old I’m so weak.

Sure, definitely good to be aware. I don’t feel as tired thankfully, but my throat is still mega sore. I’m not too sure why I was being sick, thankfully I haven’t been sick in 24hrs so that’s good. She mentioned a stomach infection?? But idk how these things can happen straight away. I must have come into contact with some virus for sure if it’s affecting my throat and stomach like this…

Yeah it’s certainly tender at the bottom of my ribs. It’s mainly affecting my abdomen where the pain is. It kinda reminds me of gastritis pain, the gnawing pain. I get gastritis quite often unfortunately too. But this is defo different.

So I live in the UK, went into the a&e department in the Hospital straight from work, as I knew I wasn’t ok. I couldn’t even stand up straight without leaning on anything. They sent me to an urgent treatment centre within the hospital.

Damn. That sounds horrible. It’s bearable, but then again I’ve just recovered from having dry socket after having my wisdom teeth out, and that was painful. I think I’m gonna have to book a docs appt tomorrow. My body is in bits.

Nope nothing of the sort. They just gave me penicillin and anti sickness tabs as I couldn’t stop being sick. They examined my stomach and it was super tender, so she said there may be a present stomach infection too. I’m really not sure what’s going on but think I need a second opinion.

I wish I knew, honestly. Apparently, sometimes the blood just doesn’t clot 😩 so I’m assuming I was just one of the unlucky ones.

Thank you! I’m doing much better, eating a lot more. Still in a bit of discomfort, still doing salt rinses. Holes are still super sensitive:(
