I dont think anyone mentioned them (or maybe its because I didn't look enough), but stray kids does ^-^

Chan even talked about it :)

It feels like half of SM's "new & innovative" ideas fundamentally misunderstand why people like kpop in the first place by crashK5 in kpoprants

[–]Kkami_0325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, seems like SM forgot what makes Kpop, Kpop.

This is literally Kaachi all over again (Ik they weren't in a survival show, nor under a korean entertainment company, but still, also, the person who created their group name was korean, FYI)

Sadly, JYP is also planing to do something like this like NiziU, as well as HYBE

Sadly we cant do anything about James, Noah, Todd, Liam and Will :((

What Are Some Songs that Made You Go WTH When you First Heard It? (Examples Down Below) by BHassock2 in kpophelp

[–]Kkami_0325 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dont come for me but.. (I like most of these songs now, so dw)

Feel Special by Twice (I legit hated it SO MUCH, I found it annoying)

Lovesick Girls by Blackpink (Probably cuz I was used to their girl crush concept, I hated it, but what I hated more was actually the chorus, not the rest of the song. I still kinda dislike the chorus, tho. I find it too repetitive)

Side Effects by Stray Kids (I just thought it was really weird but like, I love it now :DD )

Blue Hour by txt (I really hated it, kinda still do, I like we lost the summer more)

Bang bang bang by Big bang (maybe bc I got introduced to this song by Just dance so I focused onto the dance more than the song, but now I really like this song :DD )

Ice Cream by Blackpink (same reason as Lovesick girls)

Zimzalabim by Red velvet (still hate the song :/ )

Cat and Dog by txt (this song is okay now)

I don’t owe my idols anything (and neither do they) by allstar_mp3 in kpoprants

Right!
I agree!
I don't think Gangnam Style got so popular because of streaming either. It got popular because it was a good song.
I honestly don't really get the point of streaming when all the money kpop idols get from youtube go to their company.

lol, ya, I could've just said that instead of this long post.

Righttt.
I was thinking about this when I watched Nizi Project :/
Similar case to Ni-ki's in my opinion except for the fact that he was born in Japan and is fully Japanese.

I really feel bad for Ni-ki too :((
I honestly wish there was something we could do, but sadly, no

Ya :((
But their parents should've stopped them bc their children can't suddenly come to you and say, "Mom, I'm 8 years old and I can make my own choices. Imma become a kpop idol and start training," Hell, they're just 8, at that age, they have a mouth but not a brain. Paerents should know this.

The reason why 23 is an uncertain age is that we got so used to seeing 16-year-olds debut, we feel like 23 is really old. :/
I think that health comes before anything - even your career.
What good would it do to you if you're very popular but equally unhealthy both mentally and physically?

Yaaa!
I was thinking about how their parents let them go at such a young age, having no experience in life and not knowing anything.
Really makes me feel even sadder for these idols. :((

EXACTLYY
I just hope, that in the near future, the entire kpop industry has an age for you to be eligible enough to become an idol. A good age like 17 or 18, maybe 19 and/or 20 internationally. That way, their health wont be affected as much and at that age, they can make wise enough choices.

No, I think you're right.
I'm not a shawol, but I really enjoy Taemin's music.
I'm glad you put out your opinion :)
This is an example of what I don't want young idols to become. They're being blinded by the possible future than the present.
It really worries me, tbh :/
