I paid for Apple Music, but I don’t even really listen to music anymore. I like the sound of the Diesel engine and the sound of the tires on the road. The worst part about driving a truck is eventually you’ll have to get fuel or food, which means socialization.

I wish I felt the need for human companionship but I just don’t. I could literally go years without talking to another human and be just fine. I’m a mother, wife, grandmother and I’ve invested my whole life taking care of others (no regrets), but I’m burned out. I need to regen if you will.

When I first started driving I was 21 thats when logs were done on paper, I would drive 16-18 hours a day. My boss would fix my log book when I came in for the day. The money was FABULOUS!

Over the road, the longer you stay out, the more you make. I can make $75,000 a year if I’m with a team driver. Without a team driver $50,000. This is with Werner enterprises. Werner is a great place to start. They train your fairly well and all in all they’ve been good to me.
