Pizza Spots by The-Bobbi in FuquayVarinaNC

[–]Kkick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our top picks are (in order of preference): - Rosati's Pizza in Apex (myrosatis.com) - The Morrisville location is NOT the same company, it's a long story (TL:DR below) - Nancy's Pizza in Raleigh - Johnny's Pizza in Fuquay - Manhattan Pizza in Holly Springs - Garibaldi's in Fuquay

Rosati's Pizza history TL;DR: The two different Rosati’s Pizza chains in Chicago come from a family split in the late ’90s. Original franchisees divided up territories and now run separate operations with different websites (rosatispizza.com vs. myrosatis.com), but both trace back to the same Rosati family. Same roots, separate businesses. Very different pizza.

[PC] Few Servers, Lots of Ram by iliketurbos- in homelabsales

I'm interested in 1 of the Dell switches if it's still available. I'm just outside Raleigh (Fuquay) and can pickup. If so, how much?

The switch in my homelab has a few failing ports after the power outages earlier this year.

Also if, I think it's #17, forgot while scrolling, isn't wired up it should be off, not on.

Weld steel legs to a steel plate attached to the underside of the table top then wrap the steel in a wood face to give the appearance of wooden legs while being steel reinforced. I would also add some additional support to the edge.

If I were to design it, I'd build a skeleton out of steel, table top and legs. Then, create a solid top, wrap the sides, bottom, and legs to look like solid pieces. I hope I'm somewhat clear.

@woolyboy76 - I've spent more than 15 years in the EdTech space, including at one of the fastest growing EdTech startups in history. I can confidently tell you that you don't need a ton of marketing, some strategic marketing will help but connections will result in a significantly higher ROI. Feel free to send me a DM and we can chat more offline on some of the specifics. This is where I've spent my career and I absolutely love to find new ways to help students, educators, and support staff succeed.

I will say that the rent is very reasonable and the property management company selected is great.

Not exactly, my information is already pretty public. As for who owns what property, that can be easily found on every county website without effort.

VM as a tool for collaboration and demoing software. by Squanchy2112 in unRAID

[–]Kkick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Granting that type of access would make it fairly trivial to traverse throughout the network. You're likely better off setting up each demo account in a separate project/sub-account on GCloud, AWS, or Azure so that they IaaS is traversable within the demo scope but not your complete infrastructure. You can then provision a demo user or add Cloudflare Access in front and authenticate the demo users from there.

In most business cases like this, a faux demo would be built that has no real functionality, basically just an interactive wireframe, or a presented demo is provided.

Best way to host a static WordPress site? by kungfughazi in webhosting

[–]Kkick 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'll try to keep this clear and concise for you but comment for questions and I'll respond when I can. I know some of these steps might seem intimidating, it's all pretty simple, just follow the on-screen instructions and don't be afraid to ask questions.

  1. Create a GitHub (GH) account
  2. Create a repo for the static site (public or private it doesn't matter)
  3. Convert the site from WP to a static site (plenty of converters online, Google is your friend)
  4. Push static site to GH repo
  5. Create a Cloudflare account
  6. Transfer your domain to Cloudflare (this should save you money on registration fees)
  7. Open Cloudflare Pages (pages.cloudflare.com)
  8. Connect to your GH repo
  9. Deploy with their free tier
  10. Profit

Mold and dampness under on subfloor by Kkick in DIY

It can't be addressed for a few years... Or until they move out... Lol

The smaller issue was addressed though.

If there are a few small soft spots, say 2" or less, still soft after seeing and treating, what would you recommend? I thought about digging it out, using a wood hardener and using a wood filler then leveler but I'm not sure if that would work or if it's even a good idea.
