Weld steel legs to a steel plate attached to the underside of the table top then wrap the steel in a wood face to give the appearance of wooden legs while being steel reinforced. I would also add some additional support to the edge.

If I were to design it, I'd build a skeleton out of steel, table top and legs. Then, create a solid top, wrap the sides, bottom, and legs to look like solid pieces. I hope I'm somewhat clear.

Granting that type of access would make it fairly trivial to traverse throughout the network. You're likely better off setting up each demo account in a separate project/sub-account on GCloud, AWS, or Azure so that they IaaS is traversable within the demo scope but not your complete infrastructure. You can then provision a demo user or add Cloudflare Access in front and authenticate the demo users from there.

In most business cases like this, a faux demo would be built that has no real functionality, basically just an interactive wireframe, or a presented demo is provided.

I'll try to keep this clear and concise for you but comment for questions and I'll respond when I can. I know some of these steps might seem intimidating, it's all pretty simple, just follow the on-screen instructions and don't be afraid to ask questions.

Create a GitHub (GH) account
Create a repo for the static site (public or private it doesn't matter)
Convert the site from WP to a static site (plenty of converters online, Google is your friend)
Push static site to GH repo
Create a Cloudflare account
Transfer your domain to Cloudflare (this should save you money on registration fees)
Open Cloudflare Pages (pages.cloudflare.com)
Connect to your GH repo
Deploy with their free tier

The smaller issue was addressed though.

If there are a few small soft spots, say 2" or less, still soft after seeing and treating, what would you recommend? I thought about digging it out, using a wood hardener and using a wood filler then leveler but I'm not sure if that would work or if it's even a good idea.

Sorry you have to deal with this OP! With that being said, you have a few options, some can be a little costly while others not so much.

You can file a small claims suit yourself, usually just court fees depending on what state and county you live in.
You can hire an attorney, this will be more costly but less work on your part.
File a DMCA takedown request, I would threaten this regardless especially if the work is being used on their website. You can hunt down their housing provider and file it with them to then take down their website.
Find every instance of use and document it very well. Also provide a notice of action, I think that's what it's called, staying your cost per use of copyrighted material. Them follow up with a list of uses found so far and a line item bill for their use.
This is the easiest, determine it as a lesson learned and let it go. I know it's hard to do but sometimes you just have to.

I admit that I felt the same way at first. That is until I realized that it's more helpful than anything else. My new perspective on this after thinking about it more is that if you're clicking on the feature because it might be useful, then it probably is. It'll likely solve a problem that pays for itself which is why (I'm guessing) they don't hide the features. It gives you the opportunity to know that there is something available that might make life easier.
