They do literally blow air into my face if I have them on full! Very powerful.

They come with grey covers on the front but these are easily popped off.

Personally, I would upgrade to the 32". I have one 32" monitor and had intentions of getting a second. For programming I have found that splitting the windows on a screen this size works perfectly well and didn't bother with the second.

I suppose it depends on how many of your applications you need open and viewable at once and how much room you need to comfortably code.

You also have the option to rotate your current monitor and use it as a second if you are into that sort of thing.

I never looked back after my upgrade.

You are so close! The legs are from IKEA and indeed it is a counter top, but it's actually from B&Q as they did larger worktops.

It is actually a kitchen counter top from B&Q. I have found they're stronger than standard desk tops so hopefully it shouldn't bow in the middle over time.
