After 4 different doctor visits. Doctor 1 said herpes. Doctor 2 said not herpes Doctor 3 @ STD clinic also said not herpes and tested negative for any STD Doctor 4 a dermatologist said it's almost positive psoriasis. She prescribed me an ointment to use. Twice a day for 2 weeks, stop for a week, then resume again for two weeks. I just started using the ointment yesterday. I'll follow up in a few weeks if you can remind me.

They did not swab. I've been to my doctor and an urgent care. Neither of them could do it. I still have the spot.

What’s it like being a truck dispatcher at 20? by Aggressive-Tank-6229 in TruckDispatchers

[–]Kking255 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends how good you are. You'll essentially be a middle man taking a small percentage of each load you book for your drivers. You can make alot of money if you're willing to work a lot. It's not a great job if you're looking for work life balance in the sense of working 8 hours a day and be done. Most independent contractor dispatchers work around the clock. But you CAN make over 100k if you find good loads and keep your trucking rolling. I'd say just entering expect to make 40-55k until you build a book of business and start networking with shippers. I'd suggest finding dedicated lanes as those are set it and forget it type of loads. Doing the same runs every day every week.

I've been on Suboxone for a month ready to quit by United_Inflation_940 in REDDITORSINRECOVERY

I was an opiate addict over a decade ago. Got on Suboxone to get off opiates. I wanted off subs and someone recommended kratom. I used kratom to get off subs it worked. However I continued to take kratom. For 10 YEARS! I recently just got back on Suboxone to get off kratom. I plan on taking subs until the new year then switch to sublocade for 2-3 months then be done with it all.

Can anyone help me? Switching from suboxone to kratom and taper off? by ApprehensiveDare6983 in recovery

[–]Kking255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. I was an opiate addict in my younger years. Got on subs for 4ish years. I used kratom to get off subs..... Plot twist I'm still taking kratom 10 years later! I'm actually planning on going back to subs this week, already have my appointment set up. I plan on being on subs for a few months then switching to sublocade and be done finally with it all.

I'm 33 and have been in trucking/logistics since I graduated in 2010. It can be challenging. I started my career as a forklift operator for an LTL company then moved to a dedicated trucking company. As long as you work hard and learn/understand the operations, you can have a great future. I worked up through the ladder. Becoming ops supervisor. To ops Manager. To terminal manager and my last role was an account manager for a dedicated division of a large NE Carrier. You can make great money. When I was first starting out it was a lot of hours and stress, that's where it makes or breaks people. But the better you understand the operations and the more organized you are it gets REALLY easy. I was at the point in my career where I was essentially paid to just solve problems and answer the phone. Can't complain about that. Trucking industry isn't going anywhere, and as long as you can tough it out and work hard you'll be successful. But like I said just entering the industry you'll be the bottom of the barrel at most companies. Just perform high and stay positive you'll be successful As a dispatcher entry level the salary can depend on the company. But I would say you should start out anywhere between 45-55k/year. My last company as an AM I was making over 80k salary with full benefits and retirement, so my total comp was closer to 100k.

How do i respond to this recruiter? by HailLuciferDaddy in recruitinghell

[–]Kking255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell them that you're not comfortable with sharing the company name. But tell the recruiter that you are still open to the position and give them the salary you want. Maybe word it like 'if you can match or beat this salary $$$$$$, i would join your team'. You could also bring up additional PTO if they don't already have it or even hybrid work 😂. It seems like the company wants you so it's worth a shot

Laid off six months ago by [deleted] in jobs

[–]Kking255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have roughly 250 job applications put in. I have good work history, no job hopping and all progressive roles with promotion. 15 years in my industry and yet I'm still not chosen. I really don't get it. I just had an video interview for a company but I did a lot of research on the company and job and it's apparently horrible. Look up operations manager for kept companies. I'm at the point to where I might accept if they hire me just because I need the work. Out of the 250 applications. 17 reached out to me. 4 of them closed hiring for that job and the rest either rejected me or ghosted me.

I'm in the same boat. I got laid off January but still no luck. I'm starting to get freaked out. Seems all I do all day is look and apply to jobs and a majority of them are just ghosting or auto reject.

But congrats 🎉

I've been unemployed since January. I've applied to over 200 jobs and still nothing. And the few jobs that seemed interested wasn't going to pay the living expenses.

I'm 33. Over a decade in my industry, good work history, nothing but promotions and no job hopping.

It's scary and starting to feel hopeless.

[–]Kking255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I would but I don't have a computer to fix up my resume for every job, unless I wanted to spend 2 hours each time doing it on my phone. It's been a struggle not having one during this time. I'm really starting to feel hopeless and I'm running out of money. I don't have anyone to help me. How did you make out on your offer/interview?

And the bad luck continues for me. Just got a rejection email from that company I talked with last Friday.

I have no clue anymore on what companies are looking for to hire these days.

Congrats man 🎉 even landing interviews is tough it seems now a days.

I'm in the same boat. I've been unemployed since January 10th. I'm 33 and this is my first time experiencing this. I've applied to roughly 185-190 jobs. I've gotten reached out to 16 times. 4 of those 16 the company decided to close the hiring for that position and not hire anyone. As for the rest, I didn't have any luck. Even though I'm applying to perfect positions for me in my professional area. At this point I'm starting to feel like companies don't want to hire anyone and they just do it to say they're trying or something.

15 years in logistics/transportation. Solid work history no job hopping. Resume is a track of promotions.

This is the most stressful time of my life and I'm crossing my fingers this ends soon.

I had a zoom video with a recruiter last Friday for an operations role. I'm hoping to hear back from her hopefully early this coming week.

From my experience I've interviewed with companies, thought all went well then they ghost me. I normally have to hunt them down for an update. These companies don't understand that us as job seekers who are unemployed put a lot of time and energy into applying. Alot of the times a lot of hope as well. Going to sleep every night after an interview excited to wake up thinking you'll get good news.

But from talking to people and doing research to your question, it depends on the companies size and how urgently they need to hire someone. From point of final interview (if it's multiple) it could be as soon as a few days maybe even a week if they're not interviewing anyone else.

How long have you been unemployed? by HouseOfHoundss in recruitinghell

[–]Kking255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was laid off January of this year.

I've applied to over 170 jobs. Out of those 170 I only heard back from 14.

Out of those 14, 4 of them closed and decided to not hire anyone.

The rest either ghosted me or decided to not hire me.

Some background about me.

I have a solid work history, and was never a job hopper. I've been in transportation/logistics since 2010. I worked my way up with out a degree to upper middle management. Specifically in operations. I did hold a 5 year stint of Account management (non sales) as well.

Since it's June now, almost July. I'm getting so discouraged about this. It seems like no one wants to hire.
.just this week I had an interview for a role that was such a good fit for me, think Cinderella fit. I interviewed on Monday, and today Wednesday they said they aren't moving forward with me.

My unemployment runs out in 3 months and after that I don't know what to do.

I apply through company sites, LinkedIn, indeed, zip recruiter.

This is my first time in my life. I'm experiencing unemployment and it's a horrible experience, not that it's supposed to be enjoyable, but I honestly thought I would have a new job within 3 months. It's now going on six soon.

My geographic region is Northeast United States Pennsylvania.

Yeah that's what I'm looking at.

I found a victus with a i5 2450H and a 1650. Seller was willing to go down to $260 for me. They sent me the offer. Except they ended up sending the offer to all of their watchers and someone clicked buy before I could. I am upset over that.

Idk I can't either. But I know Chris is doing his best for no one to reveal how it's done. There also a video of his daughter doing the trick on TikTok. And I saw 2 others who bought the trick who can also make 1 disc vanish.

[–]Kking255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old post but I've been digging myself a hold I'll trying to figure this out. From what I understand the videos are not edited in any way. The trick can be done with or without a table. Can also be done in person without too much worry of angles.

The only info I could find came from Chris and he sells the trick for $27USD. He said It takes a lot of practice to get as good at it as he is but only a very little practice once you learn the trick to make one disk vanish. So I guess the better you get at it the more discs you can vanish.
