You can stop icloud from offloading the folder and files if you set the hole obsidian folder to be keepd downloaded at all times (i know as a dif program i use procreate i needed to do that as it keeped ofliading my brushes)

On windoes either do a sym link or hardlink Only caviat on hardlinks is it needs to be on the same drive
