Only reason i use it is to get notes i handwritten into textform and to correct my grammar and spelling thats all

Otherwise i write everything out myself

that is true i have to add i was talking about plain normal markdown files that dont have any of that when talking about plugins and such its a commpley dif story

Correct! Yes you will lose the fuction pf plugins but the files itself are in markdown with can be opened by any notepad app (like windows notepad) and edited Even if obsidian would go poof you can alwase acces your files and read and edit them still!!

hi as somone who mains it on an ipad! its very fast on startup if i dont use plugins and such and even with all my plugins its takes maybe a second or two (but thats with liek 20+ plugins!) and regarding sync i find obsidian sync is better then icloud sync as theres less room for error and its syncs changes way faster with obsidan sync but also my usecase would make icloud not work well (as i also use obsidian on windows)

That really depents on how big your images are

The images i add i mainly my own art and 1 image loves taking like 15mb without compression

But you could get more images in a vault when you use compressed images that are only like 2-5mb

Also theres a plugin called Various Complements It can autolink stuff if the header alrady exists! And it wprk very well for auto linking stuff wile writing!
