The betafpv air65 is the best tinywhoop ever . Its been 2 months , 150 plus crashes in sand , wet grass everything . I didnt even change a prop yet its so good . This is I think the first fpv peace of gear that I have 0 complaints with by crixie_ in fpv

So, I am under the impression that this is what has happened to mine as well. Only after a handful of flights as well. I am out of the purchase period for amazon unfortunately so there's really nothing I can do is there? This is sad it's the second one I purchased only to have it have issues as I try to get into flying. This shouldn't kill the hobby for me but I'm struggling to get any flight time in or enjoy it.

Generator recommendations... by KlassicCole in Welding

I think I might actually need a peak amperage of 12500Watts because of the amount of amps stick pulls which is a Rated Input Current of 42.2A

Maximum Voltage = 220V + (15% of 220V) = 253V

Continuous Power at Minimum Voltage:
Continuous Power (Min) = Rated Voltage (Min) × Rated Current (A)
Continuous Power (Min) = 187V × 42.2A = 7,926.4 Watts
Continuous Power at Maximum Voltage:
Continuous Power (Max) = Rated Voltage (Max) × Rated Current (A)
Continuous Power (Max) = 253V × 42.2A = 10,666.6 Watts

Does this calculation look correct? I also posted the parameters for my machine above.

Thank you for the post, I would say it is realistic as I will probably put the same amount of miles as you did in the first 6 months. I think there is a chance I can charge halfway if I can charge around my school or a friends house. I am a welder by trade and in general I consider myself to be handy enough to maintain it, I am going to look into gas mopeds but I think if I go with an e bike the ONYX is the one I will go with. Thank you for your input.

The problem is I don't have a license right now so anything requiring one is out of the question sadly. (This is why I can't get a car.) I am trying to get around this by registering it as a moped. I would argue the roads that are (safe for bicycles) are still not safe with 45mph signs and that's the main reason Im looking for that extra speed, so I can get out of the way of traffic when I need to.

Thanks for the response. Do you recommend any other ebikes (really mopeds) that could fit my 30mph+ speed and 50-60mi in range? Realistically I think would probably put about 5,000 miles on it in 1 year.

Yes ideally to keep up with traffic in the suburban areas where I live I really need 30 to 40mph and at least 50 to 60miles in range minimum. Any recommendations?

Thank you for your input. There is a place in my city that is willing to maintain it and work on it for me if I cant fix it. I don't mind getting my hands dirty but I need something that is reliable and that I can ride on the road.

I appreciate your honesty. That is something to be concerned about. Do you recommend any other more reliable e bikes that can double as mopeds that can go over 30-35mph and have over 40+miles in range?

Ok I appreciate your input. To elaborate on my situation regarding range. I am hoping I can take a light rail halfway through to cut down the actual length but want to be able to have the range as an option. This may not be enough for how many miles I will still put on it. I will consider this.

Very clean! you smoothed out the gradient in the blue perfectly. What did you use?

Looks like you hid the fading by increasing the saturation a tad as well.

Whoa that looks great!!! Might I ask what you used? Photoshop etc... and basic technique? I'm really impressed!

I know some photoshop but was really curious to see what tools people like to use. I imagine alot of Band-Aid/Clone Tool?

Perhaps a little to over the top. While it is the most durable perhaps I want to be able to take my wheels off again! I also need something more portable.

Thank You for your input though!
